They wouldn’t make it if they only had to compete against their own division lolVols aren't making it even if they ban all the other conferences besides the SEC

It can. Especially when you’re talking about g5 schools without the same resources. Which make up the majority of the OOC schedule. They weren’t going to keep it for 2-3 great games against the P5, because it screws up the rest of the standings.ahh yes, B16 can control testing and procedures more than any other schools it faces outside it's conference..
That's complete and utter bullshit and you know it. You wanna talk podunk? Let's talk Michigan! The reason isn't proximity, it's because the B10 can control testing and procedures at every single university that their universities are playing. If Michigan is doing great at testing because of the B10 and they go and play some podunk Tennessee school who thinks that COVID is made up, it can cause huge issues for the conference and the schedule; and also the liability of the school and conference.
Do you understand that "the B1G has struggled with Sunbelt teams in the past" is not the same as "Ohio State losing to a Sun Belt team?" Do you get that? When did Tennessee join the B1G? I remember them losing to Georgia State, I don’t remember Ohio State losing to a Sun Belt team

It might be, but the fact remains (and it's relevant) that the Big Ten has struggled in the past against Sunbelt teams. We're talking about the playoffs, Ohio State is the team that is the team with the best chance to make the playoffs in 2020.
And it's pretty hilarious for a Vols fans to talk about struggling with Sun Belt teams when the Vols lost to Georgia State just last season.

Okay, thanks for finally admitting the truth. That wasn't so hard, was it?Every conference has had some teams struggle vs G5 competition, even lose. This is a really weak argument

Pretending that you, on your high horse, need protection from disease-ridden other conferences. pfft
Okay, thanks for finally admitting the truth. That wasn't so hard, was it?
You're really struggling here, aren't you? What are you babbling about? The Big Ten should miss the playoffs before a game is played because some years, non playoff contenders struggled vs G5 competition? I’m sorry, but that’s one of the most idiotic takes I’ve seen in a while
You're really struggling here, aren't you?
Here, let's take a quick look back.
All the other poster said was that the Big Ten has, at time, struggled with Sunbelt schools. You then skewed that to "Ohio State losing to a Sun Belt team." I then corrected you and now you're making the muddled statement above.
Why are you so confused?
How do we know their teams are any good if they don't play outside if the league? I mean the B1G has struggled with Sunbelt teams in the past.
I'm going to try one more time.Because we are talking about the playoffs. I figured you must have meant playoff teams in the Big Ten were struggling vs sun belt teams. I assumed nobody would make the argument that if anyone in your conference struggles vs a g5 team, that should eliminate the entire conference for years. I assumed that because it’s such a bad argument, I tried to give you the benefit of the doubt and not assume you were making that bad of an argument. If that’s really your argument, there’s not much else to do but laugh

I know it's complex, but try. Here's my whole "argument." Ready?
The Big Ten has struggled vs. Sunbelt schools.
If you don't get that, you're just being purposefully obtuse. Either way, it's silly and I'm done.
The PAC and Big10 have been banned from the title game for years.. This year will be no different
A PAC and B1G team played for the first ever CFP Championship. We're waiting on a Big 12 team to get there still.
