You said in the conversation
Lotta wrong in this post and I'm too tired to list it.
Federer is a tennis player, I’m sure he complained. GTFO if you can’t put Wayne and Barry as cry babies, learn sports history dude. Kareem, I will allow, him and Bill Russell would be two guys that contradict my statement but neither are GOAT’s, they are Mt Rushmore guys but no one would argue Kareem is better than Jordan, LeBron or Kobe do they?
Kareem is surely greater than Kobe, and he is in the GOAT conversation.

Also had a reputation for being very finicky with media. Not sure that is the same as being a cry baby, but probably not too much different.
Damn.
There are a couple of things that favor MJ they weren't included on that.
For example, MJ was a 6x NBA MVP and Kareem was a 2x NBA MVP.
But overall, Kareem's resume is right there.
Like I've been saying for years Kareem's the most underappreciated superstar to play the game. And that unstoppable Skyhook of his pissed me off many times in the 80's. It should have been outlawed!
That is a good idea.
While we are at it, we should outlaw Curry from shooting 3s, Zion from dunking and we can just say LeBron and Giannis aren’t allowed to play because they are too good.
Actor!Yeah, Kareem was/is an interesting dude.
It wasn't just the media, he was pretty much aloof with every one and could be hard to get to know. Magic and the Showtime Lakers got him out of his shell a little bit. But even then, he was never exactly the life of the party. lol
It's part of why he has had so much trouble getting teams to hire him for coaching, FO, etc.
He's pretty ridiculously smart. If the basketball thing hadn't worked out for him, he'd have probably been a professor at a university or part of some think tank somewhere or something.

I read an article saying that Kareem's action with his left hand on the sky hook could be called a foul.
Technically, he could have been called for pushing off quite a bit. He usually did a good job of keeping it to his body, but he definitely wasn't above putting his arm out there to create a little extra space.
One of my Aunts who was a die-hard Suns fan used to complain about that all the time. lol
Credit to Kareem for taking advantage of what's available. And it's really no different than the superstar treatment that others received whether it was getting away with fouls or benefiting from foul calls that lesser players don't get.
