Can you keep the texico dick sucking down to a dull roar please?Y’all are gun totin, football loving motha fuckers. I wish more states were like that. Especially in the NE.
I had a mini argument with the Interim President at OU a few months ago when I made it clear I thought his hiring a couple of over-the-top liberal activists as his closest advisors was a big
mistake. He took umbrage at my less than fawning language and I barely held on to my temper. Now they have named the doofus as the new President of the University. I swear I'll cut off any more financial support either academically or in the athletic department if things go too far. I'm one donor who's just about had enough. And I've talked to other donors who are getting more and more concerned the way OU is headed. My bet is OU's financial situation is going to get worse in the years ahead for a variety of reasons and there will be a point where they will be begging for contributions to keep things going. We'll see.
We were going to use "Cocksucking Ass Plows" but yall done claimed it.
yeah but.. they are in debt for like a Billion dollars.. (the school)Oklahoma is one of the richer athletic departments.
2018 Profit: $22,500,000
Oklahoma also has one of the cheaper total coaching expenses barely in the top 20
Oklahoma has Top 5 largest donations 2018 approx. $63,000,000
Oklahoma does not charge student fees to help pay for their spending $0
Oklahoma does not take any money from the state to cover expenses. $0
Overall, the Oklahoma AD is very well run.
I have not looked at their academic side, but if it is like the other schools I have researched, their level of support is very high. For FY 2019 Oklahoma and Oklahoma State left their tuition & fees at the same rate as FY 2018. Which is rather surprising.
State of Oklahoma higher education pay - Oklahoma Watch
The shocker there is that the payroll at Okie State is more than Oklahoma, and Okie State has more employees.

Financial challenges continue at University of Oklahoma
Gallogly has slashed expenses and reduced staff to address years of overspending since becoming OU president last July. He criticized the university’s debt load exceeding $1 billion , asserting OU was on track to lose another $15 million this fiscal year without changes.
Exactly. Boren fucking crushed us.
This may be the only reason if they decide to bolt to B16 or SEC. Yes they are making good money now but if they can get an additional 5 or more million, that would do it.Precisely. Let me focus here on the academic side. My wife and I are used to getting regular appeals for contributions for just about every new project or program you can imagine. That's OK. But what I was voicing my displeasure with during my "conversation" with Harroz is they are now pestering us with penny ante stuff like "please contribute money for the band to attend some function" and "please help us send these students to a conference in Europe to further their study in (FILL IN THE BLANK). I told him to go have a damn bake sale. And they do have a HELLUVA debt load......their interest payments are high as a percentage of revenue.....and their cash reserves are too low. Now the virus thing has added to the problems. I made him mad when I said the fund raising is slowly evolving into a mooch session and he's made it worse by hiring people whose only job is to find new ways to spend money on SJW crap. Yeah, I'm Old School. But believe me, OU is flirting with some serious problems when the Oklahoma economy does not rebound the way we want it to and the voracious appetite for funding continues unimpeded by an incessant demand for additional spending irrespective of their claims to be reining in costs.
There must be a typo..

Oh fuck me. It's going to be a long season.
Sooooo, are they getting their money's worth or being too tight and not getting the coaches they need?Oklahoma also has one of the cheaper total coaching expenses barely in the top 20
