but again, the pats will have $100 mil+ in cap space that year too.
The million dollar question though is will Bill fritter it away?

Really digging how Miami has gone about their rebuild up to this point. In a really good position to own the AFC East by 2021 or so if they hit on the QB in this draft.
no, i think he wants to build a monster. go out on top. 7+ rings. he wants to prove a point, and i think he will. The million dollar question though is will Bill fritter it away?
Flores will trade fairly. If he really wants Thuney, he'll most likely offer BB a second and a fifth. The Dolphins have 14 picks and Flores is too smart to waste them. He's got 5,18,26 in the first round 39 and 56 in the second. He got three in the fifth 153, 154, 173.
For a 27 year old All Pro who's never missed game...
Round 2, pick 24 (No. 56 overall)
Round 5, pick 27 (No. 173 overall)

I think the Pats will still be a quality team, but with no Tom Brady -- I have feeling they are going to have to fight a bit more for FA's and players aren't going to be willing to take less to go there.
Yeah that would make sense if they love one of them...Herbert and Tua overrated imo. Love is intriguing
Belichick never goes after the top FAs. He doesn't believe in overspending for guys who might get paid and not play until the next contract year. Name one high profile free agent that went to the patriots' offense because Brady was there? Ochocinco? Pats traded for Moss. Traded for Gordon and AB. Brady might have been an attraction but the Patriots never signed a #1 WR or RB free agent.
Belichick signs guys that fit his check list and want to play football.
Yeah, Love is intriguing and Tua overrated just like Mitch was intriguing and Watson was overrated.
Trading Thuney is a cap thing, but I can still see it.
Plus they aren't winning 10 games this season. Time to get younger all around and IF they can get the QB of the future now... Do it. However, they have so many other needs.
What's the 2021 QB class looking like? If they don't get a QB this year
I bet the Pats do win at least 10 games this year.Plus they aren't winning 10 games this season. Time to get younger all around and IF they can get the QB of the future now... Do it. However, they have so many other needs.

FIFYlove is what bill wants. badly.
I don't think this class is what we thought it could be..I mean other than Burrow coming out of nowhere. Tua injury, Herbert is not a top 20 prospect imo but will probably go top 10...Love intriguing mid to late 1st. It isn't like the Pats to take a QB in the 1st round though. I could see them getting Fromm or Eason on day 2 though.
Don’t let that cap hit fool you. That’s the tag number. They give him a long term deal and it gets spread out
