My guess is 3rd or 4th round.

Hopefully, we get him in the 4th round His numbers 4.63 are Danny Trevathan were 4.7 he looks pretty good in Zone coverage. Danny, we got in the 5th so who knows.

He was working out today and the Broncos was one of 22 two teams watching .

Those compensatory picks are awesome. The team has a lot to work with going into this draft. Even after the trade with the Jags is finalized the Broncos have 11 picks. I am thinking OL and WR have to be the priorities early, but when it comes to the draft I rarely get it right. Maybe I should change my screen name during draft season!

ILB and NT and a Huge DE and a huge OLB seem high on this staff plate as well in the draft or FA.

I am positive that Miller will be traded. He no longer fits this Scheme.

Logan Wilson had 10 Int with 14 Passed defended,409 tackles .34.5 for a loss.

He is a bigger player at 240 still reasonably fast.

and as you can see a nose for the football in the passing game . He looks pretty good at Zone coverage .

And I hated going up against him when Bosie ST played him he is also good at sacking .

He got a sack and an INT against Bosie ST

If you cannot find a way to make Miller fit your scheme then you need to change your scheme.

I think two places we do not need players is TE and QB. IMO we are set. I do get we have a new OC, all the same, we have the players there.

If we do draft a QB IMO it will be the 5th round or later in the draft.

He is not a 260-pound player. He should be playing at a lot lighter. He was not the same player that won SB50.

If you liked what he did last year and that in your mind equates to his pay salary then I don't get that.

He is still a good player but he was too damn heavy for the play wrecker I use to love.

Few things...

1) Broncos did not have a lead most of the season. So the skillset that Von brings was minimized by teams being able to stick with the run game.

2) With Chubb going down Von didn't get a chance to really show what he could bring to the table with teams tripling up blocking on him.

3) He still was dominant even with those things being a part of how teams played the Broncos. He didn't have the stats of the last few years but I still think he had a dominating season.

I said he is still good just not the same. he is getting paid to be a wrecking ball.

I get what you are saying just IMO we will move on.

I’m with Carl on this one. Everyone knows pass rush is essentially a football luxury. It’s best when playing with a lead. The Broncos offense last year was as ineffective as it gets, not to mention the defense itself spending the early weeks of the season adjusting to the scheme.

I think we’re going to see Miller back to form again. I’m confident this offense is going to at least be a threat to score once in a while unlike anything we’ve seen in the last few years. That will set this defense up to get after the QB. Miller is still one of the best in the game if you put him in the right situation.

miller also gets held. A lot. I wish they’d start calling that shit.

It is not hold if it is not called also they have to first get a hold of you and that is on the player . Good ones are so damn explosive nothing stops them.

Well even the best ones only win about 15% of the time. So not sure I would agree with your argument here. When they sent a RB or TE to help chip it doesn't matter how fast you are somebody is getting their hands on you.

Miller came in overweight for his best pass rushing and he was told by Fangio to not anticipate the snap - as Miller would get offsides on occasion.

I'm not trading Miller, but I'd say Fangio and Miller should continue a dialogue on his most effective use in the Fangio defense and I think that will happen.

Well I get it I am the only one but I have no problem with trading Miller. He should play 10 to 15 lighter.

2012 has already shown this. last year enforced this ...Trade him.

Draft to be postponed into May, and moved out of Las Vegas.
REPORT: 2020 NFL Draft postponed, will not be held in Las Vegas

From what I understand this is not the direction the NFL is going. They are just as of right now going to get rid of all fan events during it and if things continue to deteriorate go to a teleconference set up for the draft. They do not want to delay the event as honestly for the NFL it might be the only non-coronavirus sports related content we have for a very long time.
