Difference is Arenado is a gold glover and Castellanos is far from it.
You've got Frazier to play 3rd, (probably for 2 years) he's no slouch defensively and decent with the bat. Castellanos will play 1st or at least that would seem to be the plan unless they decide to move Joey back to CF for another (hopefully last) year. Between the 2 they should be able to be close to or surpass Arenado stats offensively. No matter what happens it will be an interesting year with the "improvements" made to the pitching staff and hopefully to the batting order.
You never know who might be out of the hunt by the trade deadline that has a 3rd baseman to trade. The Rockies might suck and Arenado might force a trade at maybe a better price than what is being asked for currently, you just don't know.
