Now there are reports Groh and Walch are axed today. Hmm...

I’ll say this....Howie is saying the right things right now. That’s a start. We don’t know just who he has in the personnel dept that could have some talent. It’s just words right now, but I’m hopeful he follows it and leans in good people.
Doug I’m kind of giving a pass on for now. I don’t like Groh as an OC. I think he might be a fine positional coach but not OC. He certainly is being given time to grow into the role, so we will see. I don’t like Walch for anything, still. However, I’ll chalk it up to other issues for now.
I would have been fine keeping them, I will be fine with them getting someone new.See how I was already talking myself into this.....now I don't have to. Nice!
JJAW and Hollins having issues with lining up right and running the right routes should have gotten Walch the boot.I would have been fine keeping them, I will be fine with them getting someone new.
I don't know if the offensive struggles can be thrown on them with all the issues the offense had in 2019, but whatever. They did their best with what they had. Hope they can get new gigs somewhere.

The offense had at least two plays in the game on Sunday where the team was not sure which play call they were going with. The one pitch play to Sanders that he thought was going to be a handoff is one, and I thought I saw somewhere that the last offensive play they ran failed because some guys were running Play A routes, and some guys were running Play B.
If the film reviews show a lot of that, might have made Pedersen's decision to pull the trigger on canning Groh easier.
Here’s an interesting read on if JS moves on. I forgot about the tension in 2017 that got smothered with the SB. Could be a good time for him to move on on that alone.
7 defensive coordinator options for the Eagles if Jim Schwartz isn’t back in 2020
Out of the list here I would like George Edwards most of all. He did some really good things with Zimmer in Minny and has to be hungry to prove he can fully take the reins.

As @Orlando Eagles stated, the buzz on the Twitterbox is that Lurie wanted them both fired last month, but didn't want to upset the apple cart down the stretch.I knew Douggie was lying through his teeth yesterday during the presser!

Pedersen may have been honest in wanting to bring them back, but he don't sign the checks.
Id be ok with Caldwell. My first choice would be Jay Gruden.Jim Caldwell please NOW!
For the love of God, he's a QBs dream!
Do it!
Good point and I never really thought about that. Jay may joining his brother in Vegas anyway.I like Gruden too but Caldwell is tops and probably no risk of leaving for a HC gig at age 65.
