Agree to a point. OBJ definitely isn't the only problem/big personality. Despite a couple of sideline antics, he may actually be the least of the problems. But he's had a couple of sideline issues himself.

Maybe he feels beholden to Baker since most seem to think he was hired because Baker liked him.

Plus, as a team, the Browns don't really seem to let stuff go. You can't be talking/complaining about last weeks game while preparing for the upcoming game.

When the head coach is wearing a "Pittsburgh Started It" t-shirt, it doesn't really send the message of "we're moving on to the upcoming game" to the team.
The bolded is true, and that's a huge problem.

Also agree with the next comment you made and the worst offender might be the coach. He cares way too much what media and fans think and will go out of his way a week or even weeks after being called out trying to prove he was not wrong (even though he was).

For instance, in that Seattle game where he clearly botched the clock end of half his absurd reasoning was he thought he could score 2X. Now, I believe it was mentioned in that amount of time a team scored 2X something like 6 of more than 100 times. Dallas did so a week or 2 later and he mentioned it.

as for your last comment, also very true. He had many catch phrases he used that before we were awful fans ate up. "If you don't where brown and orange, you don't matter" for instance. Took a lot of time trying to explain himself for comments made by people who don't wear brown and orange.

Again, says you with the watered down definition of elite.

Bigger gap between the top 2 and Brees than between Brees, Wilson, Rodgers, etc.

Where do you draw the line?
Who are the top 2?

Mahomes and Jackson or one of those guys and Brady?

He says Mahomes and Jackson, and cannot disagree....though I'd put Brees in their tier. Rodgers and Wilson not far behind.

Brees threw for 1,000 less yards and 1 more td, in 3 less games compared to Patrick.

Again: I'm not a huge fan and mostly watched the Cardinals and I know stats don't tell the whole story.

The eye test points to the two younger guys.

But, Brees looks comparable to me.

A half a rung lower at best.

If Jackson/Mahomes are Giannis/Luka.....

Brees is not LeBron. But, maybe he's Anthony Davis, Kawhi....

Not sure why you keep bringing this up as you look foolish each time. You did, in fact, compare the 2 as you tried to say fans are the same for defending either.

Sure
Ill offer the same bet to you then.
Loser banned for a month.
You wont accept, so STFU and go suck Wiggys hidden cock!

Even considering the 2 games missed by PM, Wilson's #s also pretty comparable to him.

Not even sure what the bet is. I'd consider most bets that are not based on voting by posters in this forum.

Also not big on bets involving a ban as I wouldn't want anyone banned. So how do I win?

This is gonna be the " Who desperately needs to make a trade to get out of the West " Bowl...

It's just another game my ass.

James and Davis encouraged an impromptu early-morning practice on Christmas Eve, sources told ESPN, in preparation for the Lakers' first game against the fully-formed Clippers with both Kawhi Leonard and Paul George available to play.

That's it? George Costanza once came up with a plan to bring in Bonds and Griffey "and it wouldn't even cost that much".

Go back to the drawing board (though Holiday should stay).

I'd take one of those 9 Guys gladly.

Would have listed JJ Redick.

But, he wants no part of the Clippers Organization after Doc said that stupid Shit about him begging to come back.

Holiday would be a coup.

Yep.

His salary makes it tough because of our lack of assets.

We could send them a expiring Harkless, Jamychal Green, Zubac, Robinson and our 1st rounder this Summer to get close.

I don't see that being enough and who plays Center for the Clippers?

So what's happening? Is everyone getting along? What time is it in Switzerland right now? Will anyone be putting rum in their egg nog & sucker punching their neighbor tonight? And there's only one obvious way Santa gets all those presents delivered on time

Yeah, and that kind of stuff is more what I was getting at with my first time head coach comment.

It's kind of like when Blatt was coaching the Cavs, or when Luke Walton was coaching the Lakers. When they were a young, inexperienced roster with low expectations, it was fine to have a first time head coach and let everyone learn and grow together.

But when you bring in talented veterans and those expectations rise...you can't really have a coach who is learning as he goes.

Kitchens may one day be a very good head coach, but right now, he's too green. I don't think he's even been a coordinator before, has he?

In fact, I think the guy was a coach in AZ for a decade without being a coordinator or even getting a promotion.

Could be wrong, but his issues, I don't believe, will lead to improvement to being a successful HC. He's just not all that bright.

Yeah, he just may not be head coaching material. Which is fine. There are plenty of very good career assistants that just lack what it takes to be a head coach.

It can be a big enough jump from coordinator to head coach. The jump from position coach to head coach has got be Grand Canyon size. lol

which is pretty much what he was. sure, he was the OC in name, but it's obvious he was using Haley's playbook and not his own. Also clear what Wiley said about him before the season was true. ....and he got rid of everyone who made him a success.
