You do realize that your comments could be perceived as coming from a gay man. This thread is about Brady being overrated and you start talking about good looking QB's.

Elaine Benes: Hey George, you saw that guy from before, was he good looking?

George Costanza (looking uncomfortable): Uh, well, I don't really know...

Elaine: Just noticing if a guy is attractive doesn't make you gay, George.

George: It doesn't help!

Are we talking about just the Patriots?

Or do you mean the AFC East?

If we're going Patriots, I'd say Steve Grogan.

If we're talking about the whole division I'd say Dan Marino.

If we were talking about the greatest QB of all time for the NFL (obviously we're not) that answer is obvious.

Peyton Manning. Period.

Should we lock this thread now?

lol

I guess Brady is but... I ... can't wrap my head around that.

I'd like it to be Joe Montana ...

Is Brady in the greatest system of all time? Yes?
Is that what it is..? The system?

Rivers' stance is precisely the stance I've always held. Wins are a TEAM stat, not a player stat - particularly in a sport where one player is 1/53 of the equation (not counting coaches & management). It's asinine to crown a player the "Greatest" because of team accomplishments. And his citation of the SEA-NE Super Bowl is spot-on too.

Brady is one of the best; not necessarily the best.

Well, I'm a Joe Montana advocate for GOAT.....But I'm sure he couldn't have won without a good team around him as well as any positional player in the league and especially the QB position...
I don't like Brady, I think he's a cheater, and has probably the greatest HC of all time, also a cheater...
But you can't argue with the 6 SB rings they have won together, all the records they have set and how he has won with a revolving door of no name players more than named ones....
My vote would still be Joe because the era he played in was much harder than this watered down version today, but I think the argument is valid for GOAT in today's game....
Who is better ????

Get serious, Brady benefits from playing in the Bill Belichick system.

For the love of God, when you will haters learn? I guess you know better than NFL coaches and QBs? Just shut up.

I'm not a hater, the real haters are the Pats fans that try and discredit Aaron Rodgers. Brady is slow and has an average throwing arm. He benefitted greatly from playing for Belichick.

I agree Belichick has benefited from coaching in the Brady system. Below .500 and only 1 playoff in 8 years w/o the benefit of the system

Rings don't maketh the man
How many times did you Here Bradshaw or Aikman mentioned in the GOAT races?
Did I miss something? Did either of them win 6 SBs? Does any NFL player have 6 SB rings?

We're probably done here, thanks for playing.

The whole "system" crap is lame as fuck and all these Brady hate threads are even lamer but carry on and have fun all you idiots. Oh yeah, Bill Walsh's west coast offence obviously wasn't a "system". Fucking morons.

Aaron's play and lack of winning big games brings all the discredit needed.

IMO, you at least have to put him in the discussion somewhere behind Steve Grogan, Drew Bledsoe and Jim Plunkett.
Nope. Alexander the Great isn't called the Great because he lost on the biggest stage of his vocation, yet alone like Brady, multiple times. He is ineligible.
