I was watching a Raptors game on league pass the other day and they were speculating that Van Fleet will get a deal in the 20-25 mil per range.

Do you believe that?

I know it's a great summer to he a free agent. But, that seems steep.

Look at his numbers. His toughness and his ability to make a big shot.

Bigger issue is we would have to sacrifice a ton of depth to trade for a contract that large.

If there are some teams in the West for the East to count in the near future, that's the Mavs and the Jazz... no other... The Thunder may also join them in a couple of seasons.

I find the total yards argument to be valid for most NFL Quarterbacks.

But, not Lamar.

Outside of maybe Michael Vick, has there ever been a QB whose ability to run is so much more deadly than his ability as a pocket passer?

He has improved dramatically as a passer this year.

But, those legs.....

Guy is a great runner. And the talk of him being MVP is legit. which is why I wonder why you'd be ripping SF for anything when it comes to their D after holding Bmore to 2 TDs less than their season avg.

I saw the game and came out thinking Bmore D deserves a ton of credit, though.

San Francisco is allowing 134 passing yards a game, which is insanely good in today’s pass happy climate. They are also averaging about 116 yards rushing allowed.

Wind conditions on Sunday made throwing the football very difficult. The Ravens rushed for 178 yards while the 9ers sold out to stop the run.

Yes, it was far below the Ravens averages for their normal offensive output. Also was above the 9ers average for total yards allowed on a day where the weather was not conducive for offensive football.

Say what you will about the word choice. You guys are arguing semantics. The Ravens won largely because of Lamar Jackson’s rushing.

Yet if the Raven kicker misses a kick and SF makes all of his who wins the game? was LJ's rushing the reason the SF kicker didn't do his job and why Tucker did his?

This is not semantics....49er defense held Ravens to 2 TDs under their season avg. Also, bottled up LJ to under 4 ypc......but gave up 37 points. which D did better against the Ravens?

It's going to be interesting with both Love and TT. They are both guys who would help a contender or near contender and if they are traded, they have both earned the right for the Cavs to do them a solid and trade them to a contender.

But I think the Cavs could get a much better package from a non-contender/low level playoff team.

I think they will get the best deal for TT no matter what team it is. His deal expires so not like he'd be stuck there after the season. Agree I doubt they'd send Love somewhere he didn't want to go.

But after resigning here he has shown winning a title might not be what drives him as to where he might want to go.
