I would rather have a team that is secure to be better for each and every following year, than have a circus I will have to blow up and start again from scratch four seasons later... This would guarantee a title sooner or later...

They had a team whose ceiling was 50 wins and a second round playoff exit.

Now they have 2 superstars and are a legit contender along with maybe 3 or 4 other teams. And the Clips are high on that list of 4 or 5.

No chance the old core ever sniffs that. Even if the Clippers eventually fail, their moves were well worth it since they bought a 2 year championship window. Maybe more if they can keep PG and Kawhi.

Its all about health and the most underrated aspect is chemistry.

Toughness is a factor as well.

AD always gets hurt. Always. He already had a few times this year where it looked like he was in serious pain and ended up being minor.

Can he handle a full playoff grind?

Nobody is a lock this year.

Every team has identifiable flaws.

That's what makes me so hype about this Season.

We can banter about who's the favorites after the trade deadline.

I was watching a Raptors game on league pass the other day and they were speculating that Van Fleet will get a deal in the 20-25 mil per range.

Do you believe that?

I know it's a great summer to be a free agent. But, that seems steep.
