That would be funniest because another potential for an all SEC CG. Better to bump Georgia up to #1 in that case to make sure one of the SEC teams loses the semi-final.

I don't think it matters if any of those other 4 teams fuck up. If UGA wins out and beats LSU in the SECCG, Bama is out for sure. Can't put them in over LSU or Georgia, and obviously not OSU and Clemson.

I mean I don't think Bama should get in this year unless something crazy happens, but 2017 Bama lost to Auburn who then lost UGA in the SECCG and Bama still got in

2017 Bama had two ranked wins to go along with a solid SOS. This year, they will likely have one ranked win to go with a pretty mediocre SOS.

Also, 2017 Auburn had 2 losses which is what kept them out of the CFP. If UGA beats LSU, they both have 1 loss, so there's really no shot for Bama to get in.
