I would rather have a bad right-handed QB than a good left-handed QB

22 "notable" LH QBs in the NFL, some of which were garbahg, like Tebow, Leinart, Chris Simms, and Tyler Palko. Take out those jokers, and you're left with the following:
Frankie Albert
Ken Stabler
Bobby Douglas
Jim Zorn
Boomer Esiason
Steve Young
Scott Mitchell
Mike Vick
Mark Brinell

Two of those nine QBs have won a Super Bowl, most of the rest have at least reached a CCG. So you've got about a 20% chance that the good LH QB can win, the odds for bad RH QBs winning is much worse.
Top 10 Left-Handed Quarterbacks - Sports Central

12 QBs that threw 500+ NFL passes. 17% of those passers won a championship.

240 total NFL QBs with 1000+ attempts. Subtract all the southpaws, you get 228 RH passers, and 30 have won a Super Bowl. So you've got, at best, a 13% chance of winning a Super Bowl. And that's not chucking out the greats and leaving only the stiffs like Dilfer, Flacco, etc.

Mr Lefty, Steve Young is 2-0 vs the Bears in the postseason...

Jason Garrett was all the rage at recess when I was in 5th grade.

Only had to throw Lefty one time, instant playground superstardom.

Come on who else has the heart to throw a gem to a deaf receiver to win the game? :noidea:

Like I said before though there is survivor bias at play. You have to be a pretty good QB to even get a shot as a left-hander.

It's like saying something like "Goaltenders over the age of 33 are better than those who are under 25" (I have no idea if that's actually true, just using it as an example of something that would be affected by survivor bias). It doesn't account for the fact that the worst goaltenders often flame out when they're young and only the best tend to hang around until they're 33.

Strike a nerve? :noidea:

Nah, not really, just was stating a fact. My Grandpa had some nuns that punished him and made him write right handed. He passed away 3 years ago at age 90. But even that was draconian at the time and it hasn't been a common practice in the Catholicism in a long time. (Cue the priest jokes.)

Bad right handed QB's have won more SB's than good left handed QB's.

In fact, the best left-handed QB (Steve Young) only won one SB. Eli Manning won two.

It's math, bro.

Stabler and Young only have 3 combined SB rings. Hostetler, Dilfer, McMahon, 2015 corpse of Peyton, Eli, Flacco... Racking up titles.
Might have to do with the percentage of people in general who are right handed? Its math bro.

Most of the good lefty QBs go on to pitch and given the contracts that starting pitchers get in the MLB, I don't really blame them.

True that. If you are left handed with a pulse, theyll give you a shot, lol.

There's a larger percentage of right handed QB's that are bad than left handed QB's that are good?

Not as long as you think. Depending on the age of the nun you get a few that still do this. It even happened to me as a kid.
