You're talking like steph is playing with a buch of scrubs. Dlo can light you up for 2t nightly if these guard Steph how you assume
Sure he helps, but its not like having KD and Klay out there

Remember Toronto going box and one on Curry?

And that was with Klay and KD out. A bunch of role players.

Dlo was a top 30 player last year and has only gotten better every year since leaving the Lakers. Dont see why that change now

Hard to go video game when you're being swarmed on D every game

And yet he still has way more than Lebron had in Cleveland post Kyrie lol. I'm sure Draymond will step it up, seems like when he has to he does. They have DLo who carried his team to the playoffs, he can score 30 on any given night. They have big men for days and still guys that can shoot. Curry has plenty around him.

I wanted to take Steph in fantasy but didn't, I still have one more league. Just couldn't pull the trigger on him at the 1st or 3rd pick...I think his value could be that highly honestly though this year but I went with Giannis and Harden.

Who has big men for days? Who can shoot besides Steph and DLo?

like rappers and Raiders gear in the mid-80's...

We'll yeah, they were wearing Raiders and White Sox stuff. Dre used to wear a Sox cap in every other video. I understood Raiders, they were in LA then. Why did they wear Sox stuff? Was it just the black and white colors?

I was just another white kid in the suburbs, I never knew what was up w that

Looking like the non-NBA posts will be dying down soon. wanted to ask one thing of the football fans here....

Do people really believe the officiating is that much worse than in past years? I'm not so sure (and my team has been the vicitim of many a bad call). To me it's just with social media, plays get tweeted, retweeted, shown in sites like these over and over, and fans complain about them.

When I first started watching games in late 70s you'd see highlights of your team and maybe one other game on local news. Then Sportscenter came along and it was on once at 11pm eastern. Not all games shown until Primetime started (guessing mid-late 80s?).

Also a few games highlighted during halftime of MNF.

Chances are if there was a bad call most never saw it. Never mind all the angles we have now and rules that make it tougher on the refs.

I've been watching the NFL since 1970. I don't believe that the officiating has gotten worse.

There always have been and always will be bad calls. It's just that, as you point out, nowadays it seems like we know about every bad call from every game, even ones we didn't watch. And they all get replayed over and over.

I think that with all of rule changes, the game has also become harder to officiate which adds tobthe perception that it's gotten worse.

Not sure if it's worse officiating, but there is definitely more flags being thrown. I don't have the numbers in front of me but there's like 25% more penalties per game than last year.

Which is why it is stupid to write this team off like many have done.

Steph is not capable of carrying a team like LeBron can. But this is still a talented roster.
Not a deep one, but talented. And Klay will be back.

good morning, everybody...

just wanted to say that watching Flacco get turned into Sacko last night was fun to watch, especially because 1 or 2 o' y'all were giving the Chiefs defense a hard way to go...

Mahomes getting hurt obviously didn't please me, but it certainly could've been worse. a few weeks to me boils down to getting through it cheaply enough if the MRI comes back ok...

but MOST of all, congrats on WiggityWack finding the ball to come back to this forum. and his first act was to address yours truly. honestly, I just wanted to thank lawyer boy for thinking so highly of me. i'm flattered, quite honestly. almost to the point of being overwhelmed...:laugh3:

so with all that, I say happy Friday. looking forward to opening night of the NBA season. and, of course, Go Lakers...:D

Anyone else see this?

Draymond Green Says We Should Blame "Shitty Franchises" For Draft Busts

Probably some truth to it, but I'm not so sure. If true, why has GS found nothing more than a JAG in so long? Could also look as Suns. OK.....Chriss (or Bender) look like busts, but Booker is a star.

Franchise matters, sure, but think more about the player.

I wonder if they asked Draymond, "if you were taken by the Suns would you have been a bust"? what his answer might be.

Hadn't heard how long out, but agree if 3 weeks could have been a lot worse.

Don't feel like looking....bye week mixed in there?
