Goff doesn't hang onto the ball, so he has something to do with the low sack rate, but your cherry picked stats, are missing a critical number. Only Maty Ice has more pass attempts, and that winning percentage too is missing.

Oh he throws too much, not enough run plays I’ve said all that. But he’s the one throwing the ball and he hasn’t been very good. No one is cherry picking stats. Saying that it was mostly on the Oline last game and not on Goff who threw for 500 yards is cherry picking stats.

Maybe he should hold onto the ball and take a sack instead of throwing INTs? Lol

Speaking of reading it again, I'm not exonerating Goff, just stating a couple of those turnovers were directly on the Offensive line. They were terrible, and the defense sucking made us one dimensional. Mitigate those factors, you mitigate the turnovers. Sure Goff takes blame, but he is not standing alone d that is the point.

Everyone’s Oline is getting hammered. If he’s getting too much pressure throw it away. Don’t throw in certain spots. A 4th year guy should know that. A few INTs here and there I can live with. But he’s also tied for 2nd in fumbles lost

We give up 7 points against Tampa then Goff throws 2 INTs and we are down 21-0.

Yeah, the turnover on 4th& 2 would have been turned over on dows, and wasn't bad field position for the defense and I totally conceded the other turnover. So 14 of the 21, totally on the defense

The game began with Greg kicking the ball out of bounds giving the Bucs great field position. Hell of a start. Goff threw for over 500 yds on 68 passes while being plummeted. I kind of agree with Simms.

They don't get pressure like that and toss the rock for over 500 yds very often. At least I can't remember that happening all that often.

One bit of info for the beasts of this ongoing argument. PFF rated the Rams O-line the worst in the league this past week. I was bellyaching about how bad Havenstein, Whitworth, and Blythe have been playing on the game threads. Only the two new youngsters on the O-line, Noteboom and Allen, have been playing like the O-line of last year.

I must admit, Goff has been a turnover machine since the beginning of the regular season but he has also thrown some real beautiful passes under duress and quite often. I think this offense needs to get after it tomorrow and take the next step even though we are five weeks in. Gurley needs to be re-introduced into the game flow and McVay knows it.

Maybe playing the starters during the pre-season, say one series per game would get them where they should be earlier, especially on offense. Maybe McVay will get this worked out although, since he refuses to learn the jumbo offense and has become so pass happy he reminds everyone of Mike Martz and forgetting he has some really good RBs he is not using, I am not holding my breath. Was it not the reason we drafted Henderson was to PLAY him? Go figure.

I'm not saying Goff is the next Brady or Montana and he may not deserve the money he got, I don't know, but he is a pretty darn good QB. I am really surprised to see the veterans of last seasons O-Line play so poorly. Gurley and Brown have no where to run and Goff never knows when he receives the ball if there will be guys in his face or on his back. And whats up with ST? The Rams had better get this figured out or they will be just another loser of the super bowl jinx.

68 attempts? The record is 70 boss it obviously doesn’t happen a lot.

Never mind they were down 10-14 points consistently facing prevent D. But you can praise his 500 yards and ignore 4 turnovers

All the pressure cannot fall squarely on the signal-caller's shoulders as he's been pressured 64 times, according to Next Gen Stats, which is more than any other quarterback

It would be shortsighted and blind to ignore the reality of Goff the last 4 games. He can throw the deep ball with accuracy and just about any pass with accuracy unless he gets rushed and then he has trouble. But so does nearly every QB in the league who has faced the consequences of a bad O-line and we have one this year.

Goff has to be commended to be hanging there but he does lack a bit of killer instinct you might see in other QBs. Even Brady when he gets pummeled starts bitching-up a storm and missing passes and yelling at the refs. That is how the Geeants beat the Patriots in the snooperbowl. The defense just beat the crap out of Brady and it worked.

I suspect that McVay will really attempt to correct what ails this offense because he ain't comfortable being second or third in the division. We may indeed suffer the snooperbowl jinx this year like so many others but until we have been officially eliminated from the post season, I think Goff, McVay, and this offense will figure things out or die trying.

Goff is fine with no pressure. Unfortunately for NFL offenses the defensive studs coming out of college out number the offensive line studs these days. Probably at least 3:1

More pressure will be coming for all QBs in the NFL. Which is why IMO you need someone who can move and keep defenses off balance. Absolutely play calling can get better as well. You can’t be one dimensional on offense unless we are talking PeeWee football

But you can’t make up excuses any more. This is big boy football and our offense really hasn’t done shit since mid 2018. Word is out on Goff and it’s about getting in his face. Yes jumbo package would be nice to block more defenders

I saw that proposed trade. I thought it was too much as well but if it can move Peters, it is tempting. Better yet. Keep the picks and start playing David Long at corner. Sit Talib and play Long.
