Well you sure didn’t just now because you didn’t include my other statements on Center. You just pick and choose want you want and leave out the other things I said. But I know you can’t be a normal person and just be like, oh... I didn’t know you said that. Sorry for calling you a liar.
well. Thats inaccurate. You started the whole thing about centers (with me anyways) when you called them one of the least important positions in football.
& way back then I tried to talk shop with you about the position, but you do what you do. You just dug in acting like they were a bunch of slobs you could get at a grocery store. Wasnt until later when a lot of other chipped in (the importance) you started claiming the whole everyone is important but.....
None of which changes the point Centers are a very important position to an OC's gameplanning. While you sometimes admit claiming it is one of the least important.

Again. between the two of us. I am the only one that has been accurate as fuck.
You sir. Are on spincycle.

Everything I mentioned happened. & yes. it happened the way I said it did.

No, maybe we just had different conversations on different facets of the Center argument and I can’t include every single the I’ve said over the last few years in this argument. That’s not me moving the goalpost because from day one I said Center is the least important positions. How could I even remotely have moved the goal posts when I’ve never ever wavered on that position. And I’m sooooo fucking tired of this “moving the goalposts bull shit”. I’ve said the same thing all along. That’s not moving goalposts
Which is what I said
& your response was
I did say they are important. You said that I said they weren’t important. They are, but there is a hierarchy to and in that hierarchy they are closer to the bottom. Why is it the highest paid Centers make 11 million but the highest paid QBs make 30, RBs make 13, DE make 20, LT make 15, WRs are about to cross 20 mill? Why?
In this one you are trying to claim you were saying they were important & you didnt say they were least important.

No I didn’t. We just had different conversation about Centers. From day one I said it was one of the least important position and I haven’t wavered on that one iota.
To be honest I’m the only one who tried to come up with relevant facts like them not getting drafted high like other less important positions. Them getting paid less then every other starting position except TE. All I’ve ever heard in return is “Shut up stupid. They are the anchor”. I’ve never heard one point that shows them being important except personal opinion.
I know for a fact Center is just like the Steve Nash having 2 MVPs and Kobe having 1. People can relate to them because they aren’t super athletes, or super talented, or as strong as the other players. We like what we can relate to.
Please be the first to answer this. If GMs thought they were really important why has one never said in over 50 years “We should take this important position with our top 10 pick”. Never, never once in 50 fucking years, longer then you and I have been alive has a GM said, “Shit, Center is important. Let’s use a top pick on one”. Why?

My bad. Typing too fast. Skipped it. The memes really aren’t the least bit funny FYI. They are one of the least important positions, not the least.

Average pay for
G's 2.725M
C's 2.952M

Your BOY Jarnnt already gave you the factual numbers but as usual you IGNORE the facts.

And I’ve explained twice why that’s flawed. Here goes 3 times. Teams have ONE Center. The back up Center is your Guard who can play both but is listed as a Guard. You usually have 4 or 5 guards. When you average non starters salaries with the starters it goes down because there is no 4th Center on your team making $400,000 to majorly skew the amount.
Go see what the elite Centers make. Or I can save you time and let you know the elite Centers make less then every starting position except TE.

Stupid fucking meme. Are you 15? Yes I haven’t wavered. I said the were one of the least important positions and I’m still saying it now. I haven’t changed that stance. So tell me how I’ve changed my stance. It’s the same today as two years ago. And grow up. Memes are for 12 year old kids and they just aren’t funny

How about this.
12 out of 32 Centers make over 9 mil a yr. (average salary) 37.5% of the starters
13 of 64 guards make over 9 mil. a yr. 20.3% of starters.

22 of 64 Tackles 34.4% of starters

13 of 64 guards make over 9 mil. a yr. 20.3% of starters.

22 of 64 Tackles 34.4% of starters
4 RBs of lets say 32 starters 12.5%
4 TEs same as RBs 12.5%
18 of 32 QBs 56.3%
31 of 64 WRs (could be more starters) 48.4%
37 of 64 DEs 57.8%
17 of 64 DTs (could be less with starters due to NT) 26.6%
if it was half 3-4 & half 4-3 17 of 48 starters 35.4% (dont actually know the true #)
12 of 64 OLB 18.8%
ILB is kinda like DT not sure of true starters
12 of 64 ILB 18.8% or 12 of 48 25% somewhere in that nature
23 of 64 CBs 35.9%
10 of 64 S 15.6%
Kickers zero percent
Punters Zero percent
Long snapper zero percent

this isnt about the one percenters. this is the league as a whole (using starters not 4th stringers)

1. QBs 56.3%
2. DEs 57.8%
3. WRs 48.4%
4. Centers 37.5%

then everybody else!

But...but...but...PE1 said that Centers aren't valued high by all 32 GM's and owners.

to be fair & sense they can be separated. I separated LT & RT

16 of 32 LT starters 50%
5 of 32 RT 15.6%
then there is Cordy Glenn who they have listed just as tackle (neither left or right)

So the final tally

1. DEs 57.8%
2. QBs 56.3%
3. LTs 50%
4. WRs 48.4%
5. Centers 37.5%

then everybody else.
