Peyton Manning, then everyone else. He wasn't a system QB, he WAS the system. He controlled the entire NFL with his brain alone. The way he commanded the line of scrimmage was something magical. It didn't matter who was in front of him. A pass rush wasn't getting to him. Then his unhuman accuracy basically ended the game before it even started.

Added bonus, he wasn't a bitch. Tough as the next guy. He's sorely missed.

Oh please. All true, until the Lombardi was on the line. Then all the magic went up in a puff of smoke.

Manning is in the top 5 for his body of work but can't carry Brady's jock for what matters, winning when shit's on the line.

You had me at "You just can't go off Super Bowl wins...."
I just can't believe Philip Rivers and his never even appearing in a Super Bowl self would say that.

You don't even need to account for intangibles . He's the greatest because his resume is VASTLY superior to everyone else. There's no way to claim he's not the greatest unless you start randomly assigning cherry picked opinion based nonsense .

Brady is the only QB in history who doesn't need to change the definition of greatest in order to be considered the greatest . All other QBs need to utilize opinions instead of facts .
Yes. The accomplishments speak for themselves.

It’s the intangibles that put him ahead of other great QBs. Things the “eye test” does not see or measure.
I tend to agree here.

Peyton is probably the most technically sound QB I've seen (i.e. arm strength, accuracy, etc.) but Brady just does it time and time again when it matters and without the most talented groups around him.

Yep. Discipline, leading by example, will to win, fire in the belly.

With all those acolades one would think he'd have a better record vs Brady. I mean 6-11 isn't bad right?
Maybe if all 17 meetings could've been played in a dome PayAton may have done better?

What do you think?

Cute meme. You could easily make one showing the opposite of what that one shows.

The claim was that Manning couldn't hold Brady's jock when shit was on the line.

Manning has a winning record against Brady in the playoffs. When shit is on the line.

Fitting how Manning earned the nickname CPT One and Done.
