lol....ohh okay....so a team that did not make the playoffs and was below .500 in the East is "below average, but doesnt suck". LOL.....riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight

The Heat more then doubled the Cavs wins.
If you somehow think that is equally sucking Im actually not at all surprised.

Let’s say you’re at the local redneck pub.
It’s 2 a.m..
Obviously no sober girl looked at you all night, but there’s still two left.

First one 5’ 6” weighing in at 240, severe acne, hasn’t bathed in a week, solid 1/10. Let’s name her ‘Cav’.

Second one 5’ 7”, 180, couple missing teeth, slight figure, 4/10. Lets name her Heat.

Coin flip to you which is worse or one is clearly better option then the other?

man....i sure hope the Jazz can put it all together this year. Its going to be an interesting team to watch. They have all the ingredients to really put it together

-a true star level player in Donovan Mitchell who i think is going to take the next step this year and really become one of the better players in the league

-the best center in the league in Gobert- whos offense keeps improving while his defense is hands down the best in the league

-a nice couple very nice shooters that arent amazing athletes but play pretty solid team defense in Ingles and Bogdon

-I like their back court bench guys in Exum and Mudiay--- both playmakers-- one more defensive oriented, one more offensive oriented

-and their bench bigs are not bad either---both solid team guys that know how to play the game in Ed Davis and Jeff Green

I really hope this team can play together, get some chemistry and make some noise in the West. They could beat anyone.

Heat the best in the business at the salary cap? LOL...cmon man....you gotta lay off the peyote....i dont know a team that has done a worse job the last few years in managing their cap.

as for Philly and the Cavs and OKC is that tanking doesnt take a decade--- it takes just about as long as how long the Heat have been a mediocre/below average team--- not a whole lot longer and the rewards are self evident to anyone that pays attention. Someone that, admittedly, pays NO attention to the salary cap, rules, strategy, etc. that is out there obviously would be ignorant to how it works.

I mean you just put your foot in your mouth earlier about the Cavs spending money since LeBron left. On one hand you have the Cavs----- taking on TENS OF MILLIONS of bad contracts to GET extra picks, while the Heat are actually SELLING their draft picks to save money!!! IT does not take a salary cap genius to see that Dan Gilbert--jump started the Cavs rebuild by paying tens of millions of dollars for multiple extra first and second round picks while the HEat are SELLING their picks to get rid of a guy like Moe Harkless.

While post-LeBron the Heat have languished in mediocrity- i GUARANTEE you that the Cavs will have a MUCH MUCH MUCH more succesful post LeBron era than the Heat have had--- but the Cavs actually have a GM who's interests are aligned with the franchise--- unlike the Heat who have an old, decrepit GM who just doesnt have the patience to do it right the way he used to.

Mastering the cap rules vs batting .1000 on who you sign are two totally different things.
Not at all surprised you couldn’t grasp it though.

As far as your other stupid ass comment.
Go back and re read. I never said anything close to Gilbert hasn’t spent.
I said LeBron left in spite of his spending.

Your guarantees mean about as much as Gilberts letter.
Right #onenut?

If Heat season is defined as sucking, Cavs is defined as fucking laughing stock of league.

The Cavs record vs the Heat was what last season?

lol yah your totally right...the Heat didnt suck-- I mean they were ALMOST as good as the Detroit Pistons and just as good as the Charlotte Hornets--- how can that be sucking? :pound:

one team: tanking to get a high lotto pick, and taking on bad contracts to get multiple extra picks

one team: capped out, missing multiple future first rounders

the result?--- both played the same amount of playoff games in a league where over HALF the teams make the playoffs.

its just funny- cracks me up.

I will GUARANTEE that when we look at the Heats first 6 years post-LeBron and the Cavs first 6 years post LeBron that the Cavs will have had much much more success.

Problem for the Heat is obviously Riley. Having a GM thats interests arent aligned with the best interests of the franchise is always a mistake.

Another guarantee?
Year one you got 19 wins.
This year predicted at 24.
They better really get their shit together fast to get their 6 year average to 40+

Heat also did it while having a dead max on the books for 2 seasons.

So you start the day by saying a flunky attorney in training is better then a bus driver and end it with a 19 win shit show is equal to a team that was in it until final few games.
Lets not even consider the tons of injuries the Heat dealt with, but assume Cavs tried to lose.

Can’t make this shit up!

neither will the Warriors.

Warriors would not have even won 1 if there plan to amnesty Charlie Bell and sign DeAndre Jordan would have worked out like they wanted it to.

Klay is passed his prime and had his knee rebuilt. Durant is gone. Draymond is already regressing. Curry- instead of being in the middle of his prime on one of the best, if not the best contracts in the NBA- is post-30 and on a humongous contract.''

The road to being the same old Warriors is well on its way.

You were schooled as usual on the basketball stuff.
Not my fault you type before comprehending.
Heat are great at understanding cap rules.
I never typed one negative thing about Gilbert today.

And, what fucking nerve to cry about a personal shot being though its being used as an example to counter the exact personal shot comment you made this morning.

id say the Cavs season was infinitely better.

Both teams won the same amount of playoff games--- but one team got a top 5 pick, and 2 additional first round picks, and has 5 expiring contracts totaling over 70 million dollars to work with, plus an extra first round pick and multiple extra 2nd round picks going forward.

that- and once Love came back the Cavs record and the Heats record were extremely similar.

all in all id most definitely prefer the Cavs season hands down.

I mean, unless you REALLY enjoyed those extra wins that left with a share of 10th place in the East. lol

I guarantee the Warriors win one before the Cavs. Probably in the next 5 years actually. And you know I'm right.

oh yah...teams that are great at understanding the cap sign garbage like Hassan Whiteside, James Johnson, Dion Waiters, KElly Olnyk, Dion Waiters- to hugely above market contracts--- so that they have to give up assets to sign and trade for a guy who they could ahve signed outright for nothing in free agency if they didnt tie up their cap room in a bunch of overpaid medicore players. Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight. lol...i mean do you ever read what your typing?

The Heat could not have bungled their cap situation worse the last few years if they put a chimpanzee with an abacus in charge.

thats how you have to give up expiring contracts and first round picks and a promising young player on a great contract--- just to sign and trade for a guy that would have come there without the Heat having to giveu p ANY assets if they would have managed the cap with just a shred of common sense.

its over dude. You know it, i know it. The NBA knows it.

Right now the Warriors have worse final odds than the Jazz.

They have no avenue to cap room for years and years to come. Draymond will be 30 soon. Klay will be 30 before he sees a court again and has a knee that needed to be rebuilt. Curry will be 32 before the end of the season.

Over the next few years the odds of winning a title will only shrink- not get better- as those guys continue to age- with no cap room and no way of adding any major talent.

Its not realistic at all to think that they will actually have ways to drastically improve their title chances from the 13-1 that they are this year. Curry is certainly not going to get better as he goes into his mid thirties. The front court is bad. They have not added one significant piece through the draft and development process in years.

it doesnt take a genius to see that signing a bunch of mediocre players to huge contracts that were obvious mistakes was a shitty strategy....so shitty that they had to give up real assets to sign and trade for a guy that would have come there in free agency- and would have required NO assets to give up- if not for how badly they mismanaged the cap

you can be a bum off the street and see that plain as day.

As I’ve said before, I’m sure they both aspire to one day in this world achieve your success.
Pat Riley gets paid more to give a 1 hour speech then you earn in a year.

Chew on that.
