I don't think you're looking at the correct picture. Paul George demanding a trade shouldn't be a surprise for anyone. Look what Kawhi Leonard did. He also is a diva. He kept the other two teams in the dark while teasing them about signing while negotiating secretly with the Clippers and forcing the Thunder to trade Paul George. What surprises me is that the Thunder fell victim instead of going out and looking for the best deal possible

If this had been another gm doing this, It might be called player tampering. I know it isn't, but the NBA has really taken an ugly turn in my opinion

I don't know if it's 'ugly' but it is different. The best players now run the league, it's just a different phase of the NBA. I think it's kind of interesting.

On the offensive side of the ball — NO DOUBT. I’d take Durant over anyone in the NBA as he is impossible to guard and can shoot over anyone you put on him.

At points in their careers, both were considered ball hogs. Then both learned that if they can trust their teammates (and have teammates they can trust), they can win more.

Westbrook is basically MJ and Kobe if they never learned that trust.

Personally, By the time Monday came, I was beginning to feel that Leonard was little to temperamental to do business with and would have been talking to other agents not that would have helped. I think most of them had their minds and plans set, but I still like the Lakers depth for this season

Yeah, you are right. I’m sure the NBA only gives Paul George all-NBA and all-NBA defensive team awards for the hell of it.

FYI — Paul George was 1st team all-NBA in 2019. Klay Thompson has never been named to the 1st or 2nd team all-NBA team. Twice he has been named to the 3rd team.

I thought we was talking Leonard. To be honest I haven't even thought about him. The Lakers dont have anything to trade for another all Star any way and will have to wait at least to Jan, but I think New York would be a great landing place. New York couldn't possible get worse and Oklahoma would be rebuilding for next summer.

He is one of the older players now that date the individual player style which can compete if ran correctly. Houston nearly beat the Warrior last year. It is becoming antiquated though and put of touch with today's game
