I don't have a strong feeling either way... I guess I'd lean towards no, then.

Apparently, DLo got caught with marijuana possession in the last month or so? link

I'm kinda sick of this questionable character sh!t.

I guess it's better than Rozier, though.

I just don’t know what their options are.

Might as well just buy some picks then by taking on salary.

how is that stuff not ironed out before the trade is consumated?

thje trade date, the trade kickers---- whether he is willing to waive that, what the trade date is as it benefits one team to do it now, another team to do it now....

how the fuck is that shit not negotiated BEFORE the deal- esp. becuase those 2 things, as it stands now, benefit (i) Anthony DAvis for the bonus, and the early trade date benefits the Pels for trading the draft rights, and cap.

Griffin vs Pelinka in terms of GM prowess. The sad thing is, Lakers had the leverage.

The thunder have to make the 1st round pick this year though, can’t trade it until after the draft.

Neither do I, frankly.

Yeah. I really just went with Russell because

1) age appropriate

2) likely going to be available for just cash

3) his lack of service time means the Celtics can afford his max (approx 27m).

Yeah... it's an idea...

... just hard for me to readjust standards down at this point, I guess.

DLo is a pretty good player... but has concerns along the lines of defense, maturity...

... after the past season, I just don't know if the Celtics want to jump into that kind of character again.

its crazy to me that these details were not ironed out when the deal was made. I mean- all the Lakers had to do was tell Davis, we want you, if we do this deal will you waive your trade kicker?

the date is the thing that even is crazier. Its a significant part of the negotations. If the Lakers get the later date- it benefits them cap wise. IF the PElicans get their date, they can trade the pick and the team that gets it doesnt have to wait on getting their player into cap for like 2 months and will actually have them for summer league etc.

One of the analysts suggested the Pelicans could sweat ANOTHER asset out of the Lakers if the LAkers wanted to move the trade date to get cap room....now thats hard for me to beleive but when you have the leverage you gotta use it.

i cant believe the Celtics.

Ainge mismanaged the team over the last 2 years. Two years ago it looked like hte Celtics were poised to be the best in the East for years to come.

Now....they have 3 picks in a draft that is kinda boot after pick 8.....Horford opting out, Kyrie ghosting them, Rozier doing who knows what,...

I have no clue what the plan is at this point.
