How do these poor guys getting league min even eat? Vet min is almost $500k.
Most of these players have zero school loans to pay off.
They all receive per diem and equipment. So no additional cost to them.

What the NFLPA should fight for is a medical and retirement plan for players. Let the players pay into it. If they want to pay into after they retire they can. Just like most Americans. Life isn't free.

The average Joe makes about $55k. He/she needs to pay medical, life and retirement if they want it. Majority do not have any guarentees. They can be let go tomorrow. A business owner may need to close. Why can't someone making 10x that amount not afford it? 10x is the minimum a player makes.

My arguement is simple. 81 games away from home a year. That doesn't include travel. Baseball is the closest thing to a year round sport. They did do themselves well. Especially considering how viewership has dropped. The baseball owners should be complaining big time. Crazy the contracts they are giving out.

Sad how so many people in our country think billionaires have all the power and we are just pawns for them because they are rich. Football players and owners make a business agreement. They agree to display their one in a million athletic ability in a partnership with the owners because together they can generate billions upon billions upon billions. Sometimes they have to renegotiate there deal. The owners and players BOTH bargain for what they want.
It’s not... “fuck the athletes. Billionaires are more important then us and what they say always goes. These athletes should be happy with what they get. I’ll never understand it. It’s a partnership. Both sides have the right to negotiate. I’ll never understand people looking at the rich as gods and we should just shut the fuck up and let them make all the rules.
