Portland should get at least one at home but they always seem to shrink in the big moments against the Warriors; always playing tight games but always losing. It comes down to very good Guard play against elite Guard play.

Kerr: "Durant's injury is a little more serious than we originally thought....." Uh huh, sure, Steve. We are getting closer to "discovering" what we all knew, that this is an Achilles injury.

That was a great game. GS's interior passes are a thing to behold. They executed flawlessly down the stretch. The only thing I would have done differently was set up a screen for either Dame or CJ to get a cleaner shot at the end.

Good to see that, especially with all this recent talk about big and small markets, that Portland and GS and generate huge ratings. Doesn't need to be LA/BOS for big time ratings, people will tune in to see good basketball.

What? You don't think that the doctors who examined KD are willing to damage their reputation in order to help the Warriors with pointless gamesmanship? The MRI must've been blurry.

People happy to watch a series where the main storyline isn't fouls.

Welllllllllll unfortunately Lillard is starting to gain the reputation as a complainer. I understood it at first, he was the little guy on the little team and needed to bark a bit to get some attention and respect from the officials, but I don't think he needs to do that anymore and his complaining is starting to become obvious.

I never care about ratings because I'm a huge basketball fan. I would watch if it was the Suns and Grizzlies but it is nice that casual fans are tuning in

Oh I Don't know about that, you insert the Grizzlies into anything and my brain starts to immediately released melatonin. For whatever reason the Grizzlies are one franchise that just take the air out of entertaining basketball.

He's no worse than most, it's just how it is now

As bad as this must feel for Portland, you have to be positive and just look at it as the Warriors did what they were supposed to do and now the next 2 games is their chance to return the favor and hold serve at home.

Two competitive games on the road against the defending champs. Chances in both games to potentially steal a game. Things could be worse for Portland.

Like realizing the F.O wont make any changes to the roster this off-season and we will have Leonard, Aminu and Turner still on the team next year.

How much of the Blazers struggles in the 2nd half of these games are mental/physical fatigue? This is the deepest run they've ever made and on top of that had a really tough 7 game series with the Nuggets?

The Warriors experience, more so than their actual play, I think has been the edge so far. Warriors are phased by anything at this point. They've taken parts in huge blow outs. They've been on the receiving end of the worst collapse in NBA history. They've also been a part of a comeback in a 3-1 series (against the Thunder with Westbrook and KD).

I can't stress enough the the importance though of a guy like Andre Iguodala, who @WiggyRuss has said for the past 3 years was dogshit (paraphrasing).

Kevon Looney though has been amazing. Dude needs to be paid and hopefully it'll be by the Warriors. Again still unfathomable how no team in the NBA offered him more than 1.5M a year last year after he showed he was capable of being a good defender against the Rockets. His offense has improved dramatically too and he's really an incredible finisher around the hoop. He had a crafty little lefty hook and has an array of pump fakes around the rim to create space. He's shooting 71.9% from the field and 78.2% from the line. He's been incredible on defense and his offense has been a big plus.

Well Aminu I think is a free agent after this year and both Turner and Leonard will be expiring contracts for next year. You might be able to use them as trade chips. There's hope bro, lol.

Olshey LOVES Aminu. I could see Aminu getting a deal close to Lillard's. Clear staple point in this franchise moving forward.
