I think what we saw (game 6 n HOU and last night) was a team that still remembers how they won a title w/o KD. Constant ball movement, pick and roll, off ball screens, bench play, and Draymond being the old Draymond, boards, good DEF, and some timely OFC...not nearly as much dribble, dribble, dribble and then a one on one move.

McCollum is a very good player, but giving up too much size against Klay...that's a mismatch all day.
Maybe Green was right in his little tantrum when he told Durant “we don’t need you”

I’m worrying because of you scenario where Portland takes away Curry and Thompson. I have no confidence in the others’ ability to score consistently
Portland is incapable of taking away both those guys. They are not a good defensive team and losing Nurkic hurts that even more

Ah...probably just butt hurt...they play differently w/o KD, imo a better brand of basketball, but the outside shot can and will go cold on some nights...KD is their golden parachute on those nights.

Exactly. He's the security blanket when Curry is into some of his tomfoolery antics and can't score and is turning the ball over. Durant its the best player in the game today, capable of carrying a team on his own.

Who knows. He isn't expected for game 2 either. Maybe he's getting as much treatment as possible. Maybe he needs to keep his leg in a certain position to heal.

I'd be shocked if he hit the floor before game 5.

You can really see what the other guys give up with the iso plays they run through Durant. Without him it's constant movement and empowering guys to shoot the ball if they think they have a good look they can hit. But Durant has an unstoppable shot and you have to go to it.

Why? The Warriors went 7 games with the Cavs, where the Cavs had 3 all-stars, including the best player in the world at the time and all-time arguable top 5 player ever in Lebron. The Bucks have Giannis who's probably the best player in the NBA right now, but their next two best players in Middleton and Bledsoe are nowhere near the caliber that Kyrie and Love were.

The Warriors would have a shot against them, despite what the media says because the Warriors are still capable of playing elite defense. We've seen it in game 6 against Houston and game 1 against the Blazers. The defense will keep the Warriors in any game and if they get just a little output from guys not named Steph and Klay they'll have a great shot.

Spot on assessment.

The only thing I would add though, is that Milwaukee appears to match up better with Golden State given their length and their ability to defend. Which, if last I checked, none of those Cleveland teams were ranked top 10 in defense, where as Milwaukee's currently ranked 1. Also, Milwaukee's depth far exceeds Cleveland.

Big game for the Blazers tonight; win and they have a decent shot at winning the series; lose and its over.

So basically every option is still on the table....lol. Way to go out on a limb there.

Yeah for sure. Milwaukee's defense has been great all year and they definitely have the length to really disrupt what the Warriors do. I think there are a few matchups that work to the Warriors advantage, but there's also some glaring negatives too. I'd be very interested to see the chess match between Kerr and Bud on what they game plan for.

It's either going to be Warriors in 4, or 5, or 6, or 7, or Portland in 7, or 6, or 5

Not trolling here, honestly asking. After you've been shown over and over to have no understanding of the Warriors, when you make comments that are obviously incorrect like this one, are you aware they are incorrect and looking to start something? Or do you really believe these things that are obviously false?

I'll even take a leap of faith and say Blazers in 5 wont happen. 51% sure.

Whoa, no one asked you to go out on that ledge. Dial it back a bit. That's a ridiculously bold statement.
