The problem with these debates is I think we are confusing greatness with accomplished. Meaning, Tom Brady is by far the most accomplished quarterback to ever play the game. Whereas greatness I put into the more talent, physical abilities, athletic type category. Hell with a guy like Peyton we could even add a thing category of intelligient. No one was ever going to accuse Peyton of being Athletic, but he was damn sure the smartest qb I've ever seen play the game. Best case scenario, you make a top 5 off all three categories and see who shows up the most on the three.

As for Rodgers....he's the best QB in the game today, and has been since he established himself as the generational talent he is. Greatest ever? I haven't seen a guy on Joe Montana's level yet, but Rodgers may be the closest since #16 retired. The only other guy I would say comes as close is Dan Marino.

Most SB winning QB's have great talent around them. Montana & Brady both were surrounded by talented players and both had a great head coach.

Bradshaw & Starr had a boat load of talent around them....as did Montana and Young. Elway couldn't win without the great RB.

His INT % is lower than Moon, Kelly, Elway, Warner & Favre.

The reason you are seeing current QB's put up these crazy numbers is because of rule changes. Fucking Sam Bradford is 7th all time in INT %.

In all fairness Marino didn't have a lot of talent around him, Clayton was pretty good and Duper was okay but the best running back he ever had was Karim Abdul-Jabbar. IMO of the top 10 - 15 QB's all time Marino had the least talent around him.

Rodgers has only thrown over 4500 yards once, with 45 TD's best season. Brady has thrown over 4800 3 times including over 5k and a 50td season. Overcame a 25 pt deficit late in 3rd Q in SB vs Atlanta. Also 10 pt deficit in 4th Q vs Seattle with 2 TD passes, same Seattle that GB picked off Wilson 4 times in first half to take a 16 pt lead at half and lost. Both SB records , over 500 yards in a SB , over 400 yards in another one. Rodgers is very good and now that Manning has retired , he makes my top 3 of current QB's. Yeah Brady has had a lot of talent around him, first 6 years Deion Branch was his #1 receiver. Then they took a ST player from Miami named Welker and he became the #1 receiver in NE. Then another ST player named Edelman becomes his no#1 receiver. And btw that great coach is below. 500 w/o Brady in 8 seasons and only 1 playoff appearance. He was 5-13 as HC with Bledsoe, so I guess Mike Mccarthy is a great coach too, cause of his record but only 1 SB, weak. Mahomes right now is the most talent QB with his throws, side arm, no look pass and strongest arm of any QB. Montana, Staubach, Elway, Unitas, Starr, Graham, Marino, Moon, Peyton are my top 10. Elway went to 5 SB's and never lost a game to NE, man I hated him back then
