OK.
Just to be clear, I have no issue with Dudley making the comment. But when players critique other players games, they open themselves up for reprisals.
As for Dudley's actual criticism, it is fair but limited because, IMO, Simmons is limited by the game plan that Brett Brown implements. In particular, Brown's hatred of the pick and roll limits Simmons value. Putting Simmons in the dunker spot while Embiid drives to the hoop really limits half court value.
I doubt Dudley cares about retaliation. At this point in his career he is just a veteran bench player. Seems like he is just trying to get in the young kids head and it isn't a bad idea. There have been a lot of guys that were no names in the past that have criticized even star players. It's just a head game.
Simmons attempted only 6 3 pointers this year. In comparison, Dennis Rodman attempted 17 in his second year alone and actually made 5!!
How pathetic huh?
More hot takes.

I didn't mean physical retaliation. Honestly, I doubt that Ben Simmons thought twice about those comments.
It might lead to some meaningful stare downs after dunks but that's about it.
Simmons doesn't seem like a guy that holds grudges, Embiid on the other hand
