Dude......it's amazing the turnaround he's done.

Lebron just won Cleveland its first title in what, 58 years?

All of a sudden Cleveland completely forgets about Lebron and anoints Baker Mayfield as the biggest star to ever hit Cleveland? Nah.
You get not everyone shares the same brain. Just like not everyone in LA hates Lebron and didn't want him.

I never liked the guy even when he was here but can appreciate and am thankful for him helping us win a title I never thought I'd see.

Most do not think Baker is a bigger star..........yet.

He wanted them signed to big cash only because they were Klutch clients, not because of talent.
Where is J.R. these days anyway?
Right, he WANTED them signed. And you think not signing them was the way to keep Lebron around?

JR is exiled. Should be moved next year when he has an expiring deal in the 3 mil range.

They probably wouldn't. which makes him nearly untradeable unless they take back an equally bad deal.

There’s other possible options.
JJ loves living here.
Maybe he opts out and signs a longer term team friendly deal?
Who knows?
But keep acting like you do.

In fact, it was you....post #28864. I know you can't admit your mistake (or gaffe if you prefer). I get you have a tough time keeping up with what's going on but I said I have been able to refute comments with logic, facts and reason. You said you doubt it.

This was such an example. Or do you think the cavs should have let solid players walk and signed lesser players, too?

Facts & logic? Not from you. And I really don't care what the Cavs do or who they sign.

What fact? Saying I called Lue a bad coach? Which I never said.

What logic? Making up your own reality about the topic of the 2 players we were recently talking about? Oh yeah I remember the logic now. You said I'd take a certain SG over 2 other players. Yet another thing I never said.

I really don't care that you think you're always right. I get a good laugh outta you. I proved you completely wrong twice. To me you're just a hot air machine that doesn't like it when people don't agree w/ you.

He left anyway.
Too funny.

And you get Love is needed to help the Cavs get to the Finals, right?

Needing him to get to the finals, doesn't change the fact that the Warriors are just a bad matchup for him.

Doesn't mean he's not a good player. Doesn't mean he wasn't important to the Cavs success. It doesn't even mean that there weren't moments/situations where he did help.

It just means that, unfortunately or him and the Cavs, the team they faced in the finals wasn't a good matchup for him which rendered him less useful than against the teams they faced to get there.

Those Cavs teams were damn good. If not for the Warriors deciding to turn into a dynasty, they may very well have 2 or more titles. I think they'd have had at least a solid chance against any other Western Conference contender if one could have gotten through.

Holy Spin Cycle Batman.

Bringing Lue back up again? You know, where I made a mistake, owned up to it and apologized. Like an adult

It's not the 2 players that matters here. It's that someone made a comment I was able to refute with logic, facts and reason. Just happened to be those 2 players.

Just curious. If you did own up to a mistake what would happen? The lengths you go not to it must be severe consequences.

Except when he was outplaying Green in the last 2 Finals.

And you get Love is needed to help the Cavs get to the Finals, right?

You have said that multiple times, but it still isn't true.

Love may have scored more points and had more rebounds. But he was inefficient scoring and he was often exploited defensively.

So then everything you said earlier about the Cavs decision makers being smart enough to tank is BS.

We all thought they would be between 30 and 35 wins before the season started. If Love and TT had stayed healthy, they would probably be right there.

They didn't plan that well at all. They made a couple good moves, but they also "got lucky" with injuries.
Fair point but I'd counter by saying if the cavs wanted to win there's a good chance Love comes back sooner. They held him out knowing they have a far better chance to win when he plays.

I think LeBron was there 11 total years.
1 title.
Really not that graat for the self proclaimed GOAT.

And why were they a lotto team prior to LeBron?
Can't say I've ever heard Lebron call himself the GOAT.

They were a lotto team before Lebron because they tanked to get Lebron. and it worked.

Yeah, you've never insulted anybody right?

*SMH*
I can be snarky or sarcastic but I stay away from personal insults. I'm an adult so i try not to call people I don't know stupid, retarded, autistic, etc simply because they don't agree with an opinion.

But that's me.

cbssports.com (1-3-19) LeBron James calling himself the GOAT brings up a different debate

Now I'll admit I didn't read the entire article. But since you said you've never seen LeBron call himself the GOAT maybe check the article out.

In the article is says LeBron called himself the best ever on an episode of More Than an Athlete back in January.
