And I agree he was not....but weird no one ripped him for his defense, even though he never won a title.

They probably gave him a pass mostly for his defense because he was really undersized and when you consider the era he played it, the height differential was even more important.

Perhaps. But he has played some productive minutes in the past.
I thought they could've used him for at least a rotation or 2 a few ago days ago against Phoenix.

Btw: It's been about a week since they announced Bogut was returning.
When is he supposed to start seeing some action?
He will enter the lineup at home after this road trip.

Actually, even though he hasn't signed the max of the max deals I was still wrong. Thought he took less than the max after rookie deal.

Might confuse me with most here but I'll own up to any mistake.

That's fair. I take my "derrrr" comment back then. Hats off to you on that one.

It's almost unfair.

And by almost, I mean totally...lol

Talk about pick your poison.
Now they have to figure out how to let Boogie go to work in the paint when KD is back. He OWNED Capella & Fareid last night down on that block.

It affects the defense by preventing another possession. It does nothing to prevent/hinder the initial shot/play however. It's a grey area, like special teams in football.

Defensive rebounding is defense because it's part of playing defense.

If a team plays great defense and prevents/hinders the initial shot, but ends up giving up points because they didn't finish the defense by giving up an offensive rebound, their initial great defense doesn't really matter. At least with respect to that particular possession.

This was the first one that came up when I searched, and seems while they have Curry as above avg. in defense he isn't far above Love, who would also be in the average range (maybe a little above). And he's ahead of many guys considered to be good defenders.

Oh....Klay Thompson is far below Love.

This isn't to say I believe Love is a better defender (I don't) but it's tough to gauge defense.....

I have the perfect solution to settling the "Can Klay Be A #1 On A Contender?" question.

He should sign with the Lakers in the off-season. Then, in a couple of seasons when Lebron declines and he's the #1 option, if the Lakers are still contenders...he can be.

If not, he can't. :thumb:

Agree. It's a part of defense, much in that the overall goal of a defensive possession is to prevent the other team from scoring. However, IMO, it's not the main driving force of defense. It's certainly a factor though.

Who said I wasn't wrong, which I've admitted numerous times? Seemed clear what I said.....might not want to claim a "win" over 1 game.

But if you want to, I would think anyone who says Green is better than Love is ready for his/her mea culpa, right?
:wtf2:

Who said anything about Green being better than Love?

But if they also sign AD you'll never get the answer you want. So what a waste it would be for you.
