If the WVU coach could win a NC and get the offer I would have no problem. We know the winner happen though I would love Spurrier regardless of his day job. He could be HC of FL again and I would still love it.

A TV analyst has zero power with regards to rankings or playoffs. No conflict of interest. He can pimp a team no more than anyone else.

You say read between the lines. Either you have evidence of how it will benefit him or you dont. Does his contract at the school depend on the teams rankings? Are there bonuses involved? How does he benefit.

You are choosing not to believe if they do well in football he doesn’t get some bump? He has the ability to sway some public opinion-with this new job if OSU is close to a playoff birth? You don’t see the conflict there? He is an assistant AD for Christ sake.

I'm asking you how he benefits. You have nothing but "read between the lines". The fact is he has no direct benefit anymore than Lou Holtz pumping up ND.

Regardless even if he gets a bump and he pimps the Buckeyes I dont care. I wouldn't csre if it was Saban doing it. So even though I dont think he will benefit I don't care if he does.
