Pretty low key this year. Spent St. Paddy's Day in Ireland last year.

Taking a week-long RV road trip to Idaho in August for a music festival. Will do some fishing and site seeing on the way.
Going to LA in September for the OU/UCLA game. Letting the family come along on that one so I can take my daughter to Disneyland.
Just a music festival?

Don't know what you are interested in but there are some forest/waterfall tours. Also zip lining thru the rain forest. Not sure how much is still there after last hurricane.

On the island of Vieques, day trip, is a bioluminescent bay. Can't say as to the condition now but it was amazing a few years ago. Want to go with as little moon as possible. There's a ferry from the mainland. The ones on the mainland were in terrible condition the last time we were there.

yep, doing the waterfall hikes and the bioluminescent bay kayak tour

otherwise, drinking rum, hanging on the beach, and getting laid

My wife and I just did 10 days in Puerto Rico a couple of weeks ago. We had a blast. Driving in San Juan was an absolute nightmare.. that was the only downside.

I just returned last week. We did the snorkeling tour at Culebra Island, the rain forest which was amazing though most of the back trails were closed due to the hurricane damage and the the zip lines.. my wife chickened out on those at the last minute... 1000' off the ground was a bit much for her. We were going to do the bioluminescent bay kayaking thing but decided against it. It didn't look to be worth the trouble the more we looked into it ... what with the bus ride, then the boat ride to and from the bay.

Does anybody use credit cards where the primary reward is travel points? I have gone on many trips for free because I built up so much points by using my credit card to pay for everything. I have been to Washington DC, Italy, Netherlands, Malaysia, China, rented cars, etc. The card I use is the chase sapphire reserve

My rewards card is for Amazon points, but with all my work travel, I have tons of rewards points with whatever my preferred airline/hotel/car rental are. I haven't paid cash for a flight in a while.

yeah that yearly fee kills me but the way I look at it is all those free flights to those places I just mentioned that 400 pays for itself

I've considered getting a Delta or Amex platinum just to get the lounge access. Thats worth the $400 if you travel alot.
