and THIS, in big capital letters, was the OTHER reason i didn't want him here, outside of my general loathing for the guy...

i'm one of the ones who thought the decline might be coming when most saw him playing well into his 40's(as a top 10 player in some folks opinions)...

we'll know if i'm right about that soon enough...
And you might be, but I don't think we know yet after just one injury.

I just told you what my point was....and it never once included discounting their title. Don't confuse that with your inability to comprehend what's in front of you.

I never discounted MJ's failed years just like I didn't discount LBJs. Instead I am only looking at their performances on the big stage...you know where they compete for all the marbles. Who cares how many series they lost before they got there when every team has accomplished losing in the playoffs? Especially when losing happens more than winning does.

If the comparison is MJ/LBJ common sense tells us to look at their accomplishments which would include their ability to reach the ultimate goal of winning a championship. Only asinine thinking would make someone include falling short of their goal as part of that picture - more specifically in a competitive sport.

Probably time for you to start practicing what you preach and hire someone to keep track of your dumb comments so your future dumb comments don't bite you in the ass.
By saying he won a title because of GS injuries is....say it with me......discounting his titles.

Losing happens more than winning does? Funny you say that as Lebron has made it to the Finals a higher % of seasons at age 35 than MJ. Lebron made it more often than he didn't. MJ failed to get there more often than he made it. Darn facts.

so, yes, you believe getting to the Finals and losing is less of an accomplishment than not getting there?

Please never change

Girl bye. You did not answer the question...you certainly tried to deflect with asking another stupid question....in typical fashion.
If you think I missed one feel free to ask again.

I'll try again....do you think it's better to get to the Finals and lose or not get there at all?

Lebron should have went back to Miami or stayed in Cleveland.

Lakers fans don't appreciate him

I doubt he is as his job is not tied to Lebron anymore. But there is a writer (McMenamon) who I believe left to cover him as well as a sideline reporter (Allie Clifton).

A radio station had a poll and asked if fans would want him back if he told Magic he made a mistake and wanted to come back.

was a time I'd have said no doubt. Worth putting up with his antics. Now? Not so sure. My first choice would be he'd have to ask Gilbert if he'd take him and Dan would say thanks but no thanks.

My freaking GAWD. I said that Cavs team coming back from down 1-3 wasn't amazing because GS WAS NOT HEALTHY!!!!!! If that converts to me discounting their title to you then so be it.

Yes, losing happens more than winning does when we consider there is only ONE winner each season.

Between MJ, Kobe & LBJ no one knows that more as he has LOST MORE TIMES THAN HE'S WON in the Finals. Saying I believe losing is less of an accomplishment than not getting to the finals is you moving the goal posts yet again. Talk about stay on topic, again something you should practice before you preach to others about it.

If you think he's accomplished more because he's made it to the Finals more times, but also has lost more times there than either MJ or Kobe then you are asinine. It's just as simple as that.

hell, i'll take a pencil sharpener and a half-eaten turkey leg for him right now...

deal...?

Make all the joke you want, hell I do. Making jokes about the Lakers makes my day! But LeBron has proven yet again this season just how important on the court he really is. Before the injury he had the Lakers in the playoff hunt. Yeah it was early in the season. But the Lakers fell apart w/o him. And it doesn't look like they'll be able to turn things around before it's to late.

And the team chemisrty has to be shot after LeBron basically wanted to trade everyone for his pal AD. That was another bad decision by LeHollywood.

If I feel you missed one?? You are so busy claiming everyone else is deflecting you can't even recall the question originally asked.
This is a common situation with you here. You spend the majority of your time trying to show everyone up & spend so much of your time in asinine mode that you're constantly moving the goal posts & can't focus on the original subject at hand.

I'm willing to guess your answer would be another reason that I would recommend you practice what you preach so I'll just pass.

And before you start with how everyone likes to argue with you this back & forth started because you quoted my post in response to someone else.

Sorry LAD the injury excuse for the '16 Finals is completely invalid. Just like Cavs fans couldn't use the injury excuse for the '15 Finals.

And as far as LeBron's Finals appearances I think it's amazing he was able to drag those awful '07 & '18 Cavs teams all the way to the Finals. How many times were Lebron-led teams the favorite, twice?
