Across The Field
Oaky Afterbirth
I dunno. From the little I've listened on the radio this afternoon and seen on Twitter, he's getting lambasted pretty badly for it, as he should. The Browns have been dysfunctional in the past for sure, but we haven't voluntarily employed someone with assault on a woman on their record. At least not that I can recall. If this was 2020 and he'd served his suspension and proven to be truly remorseful and made efforts to make up for the incident, it'd be one thing. However, it's just so soon. It isn't even 2.5 months ago that the video came out.He wont need to spin it too much as the media here and the fans think the guy can do no wrong. National media could be a different story.
Now if this happened in 2017 and Sashi Brown signed him? Oh....my.....goodness.
