I tried to quit the Lions when Barry quit.

And made an attempt at being a Browns fan instead. That adventure didn’t last the ‘99 preseason.

That was heartbreaking for me.

Still carry that guilt with me to this day.

You just kind of have to suffer the pain of locale. Watching the Packers from the early 70's to the early 90's was just brutal. It was so bad that one of my buddies ended up with a nickname because a kicker kind of whiffed on an opening kick off in a pre-season game. Somebody came up with he muffed it and shoe muff ended up as his name. He hated it.

It was worth it once they got to 93 or so and they kept improving until the 96 win...but some of those years were damn painful

What is up with those RPG highlight things on a couple players?

I think it's a DAZN thing on the German version of GamePass. The name plates don't appear on the original tv picture for Prime, CBS, FOX, NBC, or ESPN and they don't appear on the English version of GamePass. I'm not 100% sure i'm identifying the GamePass versions correctly but i've seen games on my brother's paid for UK DAZN package which doesn't have them. Some other games i've watched on topstreams dot info, Reddit GamePass hack) did have them. It may be DAZN trying things out or surreptitiously finding out where the streams are coming from. Personally I don't care them.
