Try and follow......Yes, Jabari and Harden is a vast difference. Love and AD is not close to the same gulf.Surely the difference between Jabari and Harden is rather obvious no DT?
And as much as you love Kevin Love he was never as good as AD even on his best day. I know we've gone back and forth of Love over the last few years...
Cavs took 3 full seasons and with Lebron in year 1 went to the Finals, winning 2 games. When it started, they also had no cap space and it took 3 years to have any. The current rebuild could give them cap room after 2 seasons if they want.Any rebuild that was successful for the Cavs involved a prime Lebron. Lakers rebuild was spiked by Lebron this year to 4th in the West prior to his injury. We'll see how long this current rebuild lasts for the Cavs. They currently will have no cap space to work with next season. If they dump all their cap holds (including Burks, Nwaba, and recent additions Stauskas and Baldwin) and cut loose Smith (partially guaranteed), they can get to approx $19M. Burks will be a big decision ($17+M cap hold).
And the idea Parker is a similar comparison to harden as Love to AD is absurd.
You could even say Love is a far better player than Parker.
I don't disagree they wont get him, my issue is anyone who thinks Lebron wouldn't want him if he could have him. He wanted and got him twice (well, got him and kept him). It's not a matter of whether or not he can still play or whether or not Lebron would want him.
When healthy, he can still play and there's no doubt that he can help the Lakers. He can hit 3's, he can rebound and he knows how to play with Lebron.
But even if the Lakers strike out in the off-season, I doubt they try to get Love because he just makes too much money.
Imo, they'd be more likely to bring back a couple of the current 1 year deal guys and then try to pick up a shooter and/or a defense/rebounding guy on 1 year deals and preserve their cap space for the next off-season when AD is an FA.
And that's why using Parker in the comparison was silly with Love. That's not a very exclusive club.

You are kind of saying Lebron wouldn't want him because of health and his contract. I'm saying Lebron knows Love will be there when it counts and would like to see his team acquire him if they come up empty on KD, Kawhi or another top 10 player. I doubt he'd mind seeing most of the assets being mentioned for AD to go to bring Love in. If they signed Kyrie in FA and didn't get AD, you think he'd object to having the Big 3 back if it cost Ball, Ingram, Hart (and filler) and a #1?I don't think I've seen anyone say that Lebron wouldn't want him. He'd certainly want him (and so would the Lakers) if there were some guarantee that he would healthy enough to play around 70 games and the the playoffs.
But at his current price tag and with his injury issues, he's just not worth the cost.
As, someone posted earlier in the thread, the Lakers would love to have Love if he were on KCP's deal.
which was?
And still begs the question why you'd want guys hurt just as much or more......and ignore that Lebron fellow seems to like the guy...but what would he know?"the guy's hurt way too often for my tastes...?"

Either you are still drunk from last night or you just aren't very bright. Are you being serious? You compared davis/Love and Harden/parker. Davis = Harden in this scenario and Love = Parker.
Implied Harden and AD are superstars so you will ignore an issue they might have (defense and health). while Parker and love are not and you can't do the same
I thought it was pretty obvious I was talking about the fact that people look passed Harden's lack of defense because he's a top 10 player. But, not Parker because he might not be too 100.Surely the difference between Jabari and Harden is rather obvious no DT?

Exactly how high are you right now?And the idea Parker is a similar comparison to harden as Love to AD is absurd.
