LOL.

He's rather amusing....
you too with a lack of comprehension skills. You also think Love is more tradeable with an expiring deal, as that was the only comparison.

Looks like that got Stauskas and Baldwin back including 2 2nd rounders. Not sure how to interpret the value but I do know Hood would have not been a Cav next season
I liked when we got him, but don't know what to make of him. Guy seemed passive when you'd think he would take advantage of being a go-to guy if he were more aggressive......especially with an expiring deal.

I do wish him well, though.

If you don't think Lebron would kill or die for the guy if they strike out on AD you don't know basketball.

would Love want to play with Lebron again? On that I have my doubts.

Trading for Love with that contract is a net negative. The Cavs will be lucky to get anything other than some 2nd round picks and bad contracts back for him now.

I bet fans of small market teams also like having somewhat of a shot at landing super stars.

Basketball fans watch & WANT to watch no matter if their teams are winning/playing.
OK.....I watch football no matter what my team does (clearly), but I like the idea if they are willing to pay Baker when the time comes he can't leave. No reason to think he would if winning, but still nice to know it's up to the Browns and not him.

You get they were on path to win that series when he got suspended? You also get that the game Dray missed is when Bogut went down to never return?

So, if Cavs fans can suspect the Cavs would've won in '15 had Kyrie & Love played, the same holds true in that series when Dray & Bogut went down.
Let me see if I have this straight, you are comparing Love missing every game and Kyrie all but one because of injury to Green missing 1 game because he couldn't stop going near opponents' nads and a guy playing 10 minutes/ game missing a couple games?

AD is a change your franchise type of player. Love not so much. HUGE difference. HUGE.
I tend to agree, but NO was not much better in AD's time there than Minnesota was with Love. And one could argue AD had better teammates. As of now, doesn't it seem clear AD has NOT changed a franchise?

Never said they'd take him with the deal, but many seem to think he just can't play and Lebron wouldn't even want him.

That said, IF they struck out and no one wanted their money, I'd bet Lebron would want LA to see what it took to get him.

Why does this matter today when 1 has clearly excelled in terms of effectiveness while the other has regressed?
Maybe because when AD plays for a winner, ages some it's possible he could regress? Only apples to apples comparison is from when they were the same age and had the same time in the league.

You get AD gets hurt a lot, too, and that might continue? That like Love, if he joined a 29-year-old Lebron his points and rebounds might come down a tad?

Not going to happen with that contract. If he was bought out, sure (but that sure as hell isn't going to happen with a brand new contract). He has always been too expensive for a third option on a good team (which is essentially what he is).

He's a weird case. Like you said, he seems to turn on and off at weird times. I think the Cavs got a decent package back for him, can give Stauskas and Baldwin a shot this year to see if there's anything there, along with a few picks. Stauskas has emerged a bit more as a shooter this year.

It's really not that complicated.

You put up with Harden and his severe allergies towards defense because he's so good on the other side of the Ball.

But, Jabari Parker gets a DNP-overpaid Fucker won't defend because he's average.

Ditto for Davis and Love.

That's without even mentioning age.
comparing Love and Parker is a far bigger reach than Love and Davis. Just sayin'.

Yeah...and Mecca put Love in the BG category which is fair..... but I think most would take BG over Love.
and they'd ignore the injury concern they have with Love which is odd.

Yeah, the only reason I think it might be a legit debate is because BG is making about 25% more than Love is over the next 4 years.
Bigger injury risk, as well.

I certainly don't think it's crazy at all to prefer Griffin, but over their careers, Love has been the better scorer and rebounder. No one would consider either a rim protector. PER career is very similar
