....and Bullock was the Clippers pick.

Honestly, it goes back to that Smith contract.

But, at least they didn't compound the situation by overpaying Monroe or KCP.
And at the time I thought Monroe was a really good pick up for Boston.

Watching NBA TV.

Marc Gasol in Toronto?

Would that be a good pickup?

I think Deandre Jordan would do well there and in Houston.

I don't even know who they would trade to match salary.

Valencunis and who?
I think DJ in Tor would be a better fit than Gasol. I think Gasol would be good in LA w/ LBJ.

Part of it is injuries.

He's been declining since you sent him to Detroit.

Lack of loyalty debate aside, Danny Ainge is terrific at shipping guys out a year early, instead of a year to late.

He still plays decent defense.

But, he's only still here because his 2nd year is a team option.

He's just a placeholder deal in case a top player gives us a look.

It's possible I'm being a bit harsh with him.

I have serious issues with Balmer knowingly employing alleged rapist.

He's done it in the front office and now with Bradley.
Dang... I didn't even hear about the alleged r*pe.

Whatever the truth of it... he's a married man, and something apparently happened between him and the accuser. :tsk: I hate that sh!t. even if everything was consentual.

Not making a topic because I figure most of the people that would know about it post in here so

Have any of you seen this 21 Savage situation? He got arrested by ICE today and is likely getting deported...TO BRITAIN.

WTF. Apparently he's whole persona is fake. He actually immigrated here as teen from the UK on a visa which expired over a decade ago. Lol, this is nuts
Wtf...lol

Yeah, If he was a bigger name, that Shit would have been everywhere.

Since he's not, it totally flew under the radar.

I don't know if he's guilty or not. But, the optics are really bad considering the fact that Sterling lost his team for morality issues.

I've often thought this....he's an assassin.

He had a play in today’s game that literally made me see Kobe doing the same thing. Top of the key, take a couple steps in and do a 360 then step back and swish from the elbow. Saw Kobe do thst hundreds and hundreds of times.

I hate be a broken record but had the Pistons hit on any of their lotto picks this is a different team. That's what has killed them. Bullock and Smith are good depth pieces but the rest are trash. And yes I agree you have to have the pieces from guardplay.

Let me clarify a little.

A Davis/Cousins pairing or a BG/Drummond pairing could still hypothetically work,

But your guards have to at least be above average to actually contend.

Denver, for example, has taken the next step because Murray is playing all star caliber ball. Barton and Harris are solid and they have some really nice depth pieces on the perimeter with guys like Craig and Beasley.

In other words, it isn't just all about JOkic in Denver.

.....and when Midget Isiah is healthy, he can also spread the floor.

And imagine if MPJ can get healthy and get anywhere near his ceiling.

Wasn't too long ago people thought he was the best player in a draft class with Doncic, JJJ, and Ayton.

Yeah, Clippers will likely rue the day they drafted Robinson over Porter for years to come.

Trade deadline is this week, wonder if it'll be busy or not. I'd like to see the Raptors do something good at the deadline.

I hear ya

And that's because Denver hit on a couple draft choices

Winslow/Mitchell/Smith/Jackson works a lot better
