I think this is a very poor argument because there is no real substance to it. You are saying that most people do not want to advance the thought process but you expect us to keep Foles based on some urban level type shit. The Wentz is better argument is simply because he is the better QB and for some reason you seem to keep trying to find different ways to claim otherwise. Wentz did not play bad this year and I am sure you are not going to suggest that he did. He played very well to be honest and some of the losses the Eagles suffered could not be blamed on him in fact at a minimum 2 of the can be clearly blamed on the defensive implosion. I refer back to your argument of praising Foles even though the team was beat up and I repeat my rebuttal that Foles played with a healthier Eagles team.

1. A teams front office is not going to poll players and ask them who they want as a QB. To do so would take stupidity to another level. For arguments sake Alshon Jeffries may say he wants Foles. Zach Ertz on the other hand may say he wants Wentz. So now the team has to deal with the delicate situation of insulting one player over another. So smart NFL teams take a basic stance. You are under contract so shut the fuck up and do your job.

2. Fans are too emotional and should never be taken seriously when thinking about what players to get. If teams were stupid enough to do that Tim Tebow could very well still be in the NFL.

foles went 9-2 in 2013, led a 4th quarter comeback against the saints in the playoffs and we lost on a FG at the end.

he started 5-2 in 2014, where he had to throw 62 times on the road (without taking a sack) in a close loss to an arizona team who started the year 9-1. he then picked up a shoulder injury i believe and was traded.

we then went 7-9 in 2015 with the "talented" sam bradford, who teams are still signing for 500 million per year even though he's never done anything, because foles apparently wasn't good enough despite the previous 14-4 record.

in 2017 foles helps finish off the rams. then the eagles beat the giants, raiders, falcons, vikings and pats for their only superbowl. and foles picks up the MVP.

in 2018 foles takes the depleted eagles into LA and leads them to a huge upset. then he knocks off the red hot texans the following week. then he burns the bears on a clutch drive. and finally, he's about to burn the saints, but alshon can't handle the pass.

why the fuck would anyone want to dispose of this guy for a soon to be 27 year old, injured, inconsistent, 0 playoff appearance, holds on to the ball too long and has fumbling issues guy? because he's a #2 pick and he's sooooooo talented. and talented players always do so much. who's next in line to sign the former #1 pick sam bradford? because he's SOOOOOOOOO talented. i know the pats are kicking themselves every day over the fact they wasted so much time on a QB drafted in the 6th round. all the talent they've missed out on these last 2 decades for that no talent bum currently taking snaps.

Has missed games because of concussions, broken bones, and been benched for poor play in prior seasons.

compensating for a less than 100% knee causes what kind of stress on your back?

I'd say this year's injury is a compounding of coming back too early from last years.

I don't think you would yield Ramsey and something else from JAX, certainly not a 1st rd pick. Foles hasn't risen to that level imo, but straight up for Ramsey or Ramsey + a 4th rd maybe you have a deal.
