IMO, there is no longer even a question about who gives the Eagles the best chance to win. IMO, Foles has eradicated all legitimate arguments against picking him over Wentz to lead this team. That is what I said MONTHS ago when I asked “how long does Philly stick with Wentz before going back to Foles”.

However, if the Eagles somehow beat the Saints this weekend then that means Foles will have eradicated not only the legitimate argument against him but also the irrational ones. If the Eagles win this weekend NOBODY sane will be able to argue “Wentz > Foles”. Why? Because not too long ago this same Eagles team got shellacked by these Saints in embarrassing fashion with Wentz at QB. If Foles goes into New Orleans and beats the Saints in a game 1) where everything is on the line and 2) where the Saints are rested and ready even Eagles fans in the insane asylum who cling to the belief that “a Wentz is better than Foles” will agree that they were wrong all this time. In fact, the insane people are the only ones left who believe this.
