Figure we could use a thread for random stuff not worthy of it's own thread.

Some rumblings of Thor being available. One idea I saw floated out there, would a Syndergaard for Correa trade make sense for the Mets/Astros?

Interesting on Cron, guy did good last season. Got to think if he's made available there'll be a bit of interest in him.

Hypothetical, if the Yankees got Harper, is that the best 3, 4, 5 in our lifetime (on paper at least)?

Trout, Hamilton, Pujols seemed incredible on paper and completely fizzled out.

It'd be up there, I heard Goldschmidt possibly to the Phillies today as well. If they get him as well as Harper then that'd be a good lineup as well.

that would be a lot of power with Hoskins/Goldschmidt/Harper.

Corbin met with Yanks/Nats/Phils this week.

Reportedly seeking a minimum of 6 years.

He's coming off a fantastic year, but that seems like a hefty demand for a guy who also had an ERA north of 4 in 2016-17 with blah peripherals.

He's young, left handed, and only getting better, and it appears he's got a bit of a bidding war started.

I think he's gonna get it.

There is significant momentum toward a deal that would send Robinson Cano and Edwin Díaz from the Seattle Mariners to the New York Mets, league sources tell Yahoo Sports. While they characterize a deal as not done yet, there is an increasing expectation a trade will get finished.

Not sure how I feel about this. The price tag is obviously outrageous but I still believe he has some left in the tank. If they eat salary or they take enough back in return it may be doable.
