Noble effort, yet a step a bit too steep

I get it. It's just so tough to make up the difference in his weekly score since I can't play all three guys you send me to fill in for his one spot in my lineup. Now you've got me thinking about what to get for him though, so if anybody is interested, Melvin Gordon is on the block, but I warn you I turned down a lot from Treff.

Greedy bastard tells me toss in your first born, and you've got a deal, can you believe that?

Lol. :suds:

Naw, reasoning received and understood, surely you likewise understand why I couldn't go more..I would a had a tough time turning in a fill active lineup many weeks.

I do understand completely. The way I see it, is the way you offered it was still a good deal for me, but to get a special running back it takes a great deal (kind of like when somebody was trying to get Mahommes from you) and adding Clement would have made it good enough that I had to pull the trigger, but in doubt, always lean toward the best player which is Gordon.

I got beat out on Chubbs in every redraft league ( it would have to be a busy time at work when the news dropped), but on the bright side I own Chubbs in most of my dynasty leagues and in many Hyde also. So guess the results are bad news/ good news .

I don't think Bandit has the crush on Mahommes like you did on Watson..and even if he did, I wouldn't include him to get Gordon..maybe Gurley, but not Gordon

How did Gio go from waivers to free agent in less than 24 hours??

Well hell Treff honestly I didn't even notice that, I just went in there last night and he was listed as a free agent, but you're right, he should have been on waivers still if he was just dropped yesterday. In fact, when I look at it, everybody that was dropped this week should still be listed on waivers and none of them are. Fantrax must have screwed something up. I'll find out what's going on and I might have to put everybody that's been dropped on waivers manually depending on what they say.

Okay, so apparently waivers were processed at both 1:00am and 1:00pm yesterday which makes no damn sense whatsoever. My only options as a commissioner is to waive all players, but that's going to put everybody that's a free agent on waivers too, which seems a little drastic. I think it will be easier if I just drop Gio which will put him back on waivers for the proper amount of time. It's not like I was going play him anyway and I was leaning toward picking up Rishard Matthews anyway, so I will just do that, then you can use that #1 waiver claim on him that you've been holding on to so dearly this year Treff. LOL.

Ha! Had I wanted to do that, I woulda put in a claim on him when I saw Lefty dropped him.

Naw, I have my settings set to get an email anytime anyone gets put on waivers or enters the FA pool, just thought, woe, that seemed quick, went to check him out and you already snatched him up
