This is why you won't last the season.

Made a distinct point re: the circumstances. So once again, you're taking a post out of context.

You've been warned about that before.
you called me blind and moronic because i said its a joke to think that lonzo Ball could be the centerpiece of a Damian Lillard deal.

if there is ANYONE THAT POSSIBLY thinks that Lonzo Ball could be the centerpiece of a deal for a star- they are WITHOUT A doubt the blind and moronic ones. That is MY POINT.

since the day that Ball was drafted his stock has gone one way- and we both know that way isnt UP.

my point was Ball could absolutely not be the centerpiece of any kind of deal for a star. Calling me moronic for saying that just seems hypocritical because i think thats a fact everyone would agree with. lol.

the NBA is just so focused on shooting nowadays.

When you sign a couple three point shooters- go and trade for a couple more- because on any given night a guy like Stauskas that has that skill set can go off.

There is nothing more important in the game nowadays than floor spacing and 3 pt shooting. Guys that can handle the ball are a dime a dozen.

Everyone can handle the ball nowadays for all practicality- everyone from 7 foot centers to the plethora of combo guards.

But shooters? when you think you have enough- go and get Kyle Korver or Ray Allen or Mike Miller or Rashard Lewis or Channing Frye etc.--- i dont care if they are just one trick ponies like Stauskas---- get the shooting and when you think you have enough go and get more.

i actually agree with this -

he showed that he can shoot the 3. He has yet to prove himself- but someone with his skill set should get the chance to do so.

The Lakers have a couple three point shooters and a couple that have potential (if not solid track records). But on nights when their "good" 3 point shooters are cold like tonight with Kuzma - they just dont have the shooting depth to pick the rest of the team up. Svi is the type of guy that can do that it looks like (though as the case with ANY rookie that has not played a lick in the NBA- he has a lot to prove).

Honestly- Kyle Korver on the Cavs is without a doubt avaliable- getting a guy that LeBron is comfortable with and can still shoot the 3 at 40% with his eyes closed would be a great move if you ask me- but we shall see.

With the Cavs last year- you could usually tell if they won a game by just looking at one stat- their 3 point shooting. No matter who you are in the league today- if you shoot 23% from 3, you are behind the 8 ball- especially against a solid if not spectacular team like the Blazers.

Lakers will have a tough time making minutes for a shooter unless they trade away someone like Lance or KCP. Hart eventually got his jumper going, and Kuzma will too. Always some jitters on opening night, especially the first game with Lebron, on the road in Portland where the Lakers always seem to struggle, etc.

No I didn't. You sure you want to push this?

Are we going to get another meltdown before the inevitable?

He will come around to a certain extent- but the guy is on a minutes restriction still from having surgery on his knee. I still think he can be a good player- but i highly doubt he lives up to being a #2 overall pick.
