TCU: 3-3, 172 PF, 121 PAKSU looks as good as TCU to me....if they played in Kansas this year my money would be on KSU.
So far this year, it looks like they will battle to see who is the tallest midget.KSU looks as good as TCU to me....if they played in Kansas this year my money would be on KSU.
It was hardly a neutral site game for TCU. That so-called neutral site game (AT&T Stadium) in Arlington is about 15 miles away from TCU's campus in Fort Worth.

The team & their fans only had to travel 15 miles. You don't think it was an advantage to only travel that distance?
You know it comes down to more than just crowd makeup. OSU had to travel across the country. The kids are sleeping in a hotel instead of at home. They're practicing in a different facility while TCU guys get their home to practice at. Hell the time zone difference can even have an effect. I'm not saying these are excuses (don't really need them since we won), but that game was easier for the TCU kids than the OSU kids. This is the 2nd time I've seen this from an Ohio State fan. It was 70/30 in favor of Ohio State in terms of attendance. If anything it was more of a road game for TCU.
Hell, you guys are the ones that hypnotized them...or pulled some kind of voodoo shit on 'em after the first half. They need someone to hypnotize them into thinking they are playing Ohio State every week
While it is considered an impressive venue to play in, I would venture to say a good number of the TCU kids played some playoff games at Jerry's World in high school. You know it comes down to more than just crowd makeup. 3 of the 4 playoff teams last season played an 8 game conference schedule, including the two teams that met in the finals.
Conferences that play a 9 game conference schedule only screw themselves.
Or if you are the Pac12, you play the extra conference games so that you get the guaranteed conference wins, since you tend to lose OOC games against G5 teams.

And as I said, there was more to it than that. I don't know about you, but I don't sleep for shit in hotels as compared to at home.I'd rather travel 2.5 hours in a plane and play in front of 70-75% of my fans, then travel 15 minutes and play in front of 25-30% of my fans.

I don't think so. This team has shown it can play in front of a raucous non-Ohio State crowd. I'd rather play in Dayton in a 25/75 anti-OSU crowd and still be able to sleep in my own bed and practice in my own facilities.Sure, but the most significant thing is playing in front of a pro plus Ohio State crowd. That wasn't a difficult atmosphere at all.

So you think it was a true neutral site game because Ohio State fans travel well? I said this yesterday but I didn't consider it a true road game for TCU, they barely had to travel.
Distance from Fort Worth (TCU's campus) to Arlington for the game- 15 miles.
Distance from Columbus, OH. to Arlington- 1,060 miles.
What's the advantage of the game being played close to campus if nobody from said campus shows up for the game? I understand Ohio State had to travel farther, but they did to the tune of like 50,000 more fans. Props for them.
Yeah but you ain't a very fit, well trained 18-22 year old D1 college football player. Those suckers can sleep on a concrete floor with a tornado coming through town. And as I said, there was more to it than that. I don't know about you, but I don't sleep for shit in hotels as compared to at home.
