How about your management backing Butler?

When last season ended, Magic and Pelinka put all of the kids on notice.

So alienate the guys you just gave nearly $300M to and have been here their entire careers and back the guy who just told the world he wanted off your team, come on man...

Can we borrow Magic? I mean coming from him it means something!

are you insane?

Wiggins is 23. Towns is 22. They are in a LOADED Western Conference and those 2 guys are the leaders of their team.

You are trying to call those 2 "Dwight Howard" when they are in their early 20's?!!

that post is simply delusional

Whatever you say. As usual, you're wrong.

Direct from Adrian Woj:

In any circumstance, Butler wants a trade to a team that plans to sign him to a five-year, maximum contract that could be worth $190 million in the summer, and his list could expand based upon the Timberwolves' and rival teams' willingness to negotiate a trade for him, league sources said.

its why his list are teams with tons of money to spend--

From Woj:

Butler, 29, prefers a trade to the LA Clippers, and has a strong interest with the New York Knicks as well as an interest with the Brooklyn Nets, league sources said. Those three teams have the salary-cap space to sign Butler outright this summer to a maximum contract extension.

Butler knows that the Twolves cant afford to give him his supermax- but teams like the Nets, Clippers, and Knicks can.

Sources: Wolves rebuffing Butler trade calls

all there in black and fucking white.

One fact no big-outlet reporter will touch, because this is mostly where their information comes from, but Jimmy Butler’s #TWolves saga just happened to coincide with the year he switched agents. And let me tell you, Bernie Lee is a piece of work. #NBA

If telling them that need to put in work and improve is "alienating them", then you guys really have backed the wrong horses.

No. But I believe Jim Buss may be available. :heh:

If Wiggins & KAT are great leaders.....why did they bring in Butler?

Pull up a chair and get some popcorn, people....this could get interesting.

Could be, i've never really liked Wiggins but I think Towns still has a chance but you can't back Butler after whats happened the last few weeks that's crazy, you think they play with no heart now, back Butler here and they will walk up and down the court.

yah Butler cares so much about winning that he wanted to go to the Knicks or Clippers. LOL

its just a big fat cash grab pure and simple.

Of course he wants to get paid genius. He’s earned it.

Has Wiggins? Again it’s about work ethic. That’s how the best win rings

Don’t get me started on young one and dones going thru KU and UK.

Butler is eligible for a five-year, $190 million maximum extension with Minnesota or any team that trades for him. If he becomes a free agent, Butler can sign a four-year, $141 million contract.

no one has to look any farther than this bit of info.

Wiggy has too.

James on the Cavs.....
LeBron didnt whine and say "WAAAAAAAAH WAAAAAAAH trade me Cedi Osman isnt doing enough pushups and doesnt growl when he goes to the hoop"

its about money DJ- just read the Woj article

if a team has his Bird Rights he can get 5 for 190

if he leaves as a free agent he can only get 4 for 140

he changed his agent a couple months before this starts happening. its crystal clear what is happening. a big fucking cash grab.

Lol.

He said he didn't have enough help and demanded trades be made.

Here’s the deal with Jimmy. If he ain’t gonna win shit with 2 youngsters (maybe 1 listens and 1 does not), he’s probably looking to go somewhere like NY and bring in other talent to make a super team. Hes only got so many years to waste and if these kids don’t want to buy in and work their asses off.. buh bye

he wants a 5 year 190 million dollar deal and knows he wont get it in minnesota so he is trying to force them to trade him to somewhere that will give it to him. if he is traded he keeps his bird rights- if he leaves in free agency he can only get a 4 year deal.

he knows that NOBODY is giving him a big money deal at the age of 34
