and none of them play each other until Oklahoma plays TCU on October 20th, then the rest of the games that involve Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, TCU and West Virginia playing each are all in November.

So basically if none of these teams messes up and drops a game to someone like Iowa State or Texas....they will all be in the top 10 entering that OU/TCU game....then including the silly Big 12 championship game which will likely match up two of these teams, they will beat each other up and none make the playoff :L

I wouldn't say it's that clear. I don't know that TCU gets past Texas this weekend or Iowa St. the following week. And Kansas St. & Texas Tech may be capable of pulling off an upset, too.

I think Oklahoma, West Virginia & Oklahoma State are a step or two above the best of the B-12, but I'm not sure how much the unscheduled bye week may throw off the Mountaineers mojo.

I don't think they get more than 3 teams in the Top 10, and at least one of them will have a short stay.

I never understood why the B12 backloads their conference schedule like they do each year. Losing to a tough team in November is a WHOLE lot worse than losing to a tough team in September or October IMO (obviously depending on how badly you lose).

Big12 schedules SHOULD look something like

Regional rivalry game every year (Texas v A&M, OU v NU, WVU v Pitt or VT, KU v Mizzu, TCU v Arky ect.) then:

Lower tier easy W G5 or P5 scrub

BYE

Conference game

BYE
Conference game

FCS scrub/roster game eveeyone plays

Conference game

CCG

Take the SEC approach. Not knocking the SEC at all, its a good formula.

I didn't take Taco as that prestigious of an academic institution

That was what I was getting at. The other two especially Northwestern excel at academics. Taco U doesn't fit anywhere.

It is better than perceived. At one time, their law school students had the highest passing rate. Med school is good too. But, they are still considered ag and perception becomes reality.

You stated and I quote “So basically OU is playing no one difficult this year”. You ignorantly stated no one in the B12 will be difficult to play besides Oklahoma, in week 3. You truely are a special kind of stupid.

An I gave you the option of you picking if you were ignorant or just bashing Texas and dragging the rest of us into it. No ones bitching about Texas.

You are the epitmoe of ignorant. An you didn’t know epically was a word lololololol

:pop2:

Yeah, you’re just ignorant and stupid. Nothing really else.

As long as it is an idiot homer like you that is calling me ignorant, I'm safe. Now if someone anyone fucking respected was saying it then it might sting a bit.

The facts are ou is 3 time defending big xii champ. This senior class wants it 4 straight.

Who else has dominated their P5 conference like that?

The big xii is OUrs to lose until someone proves worthy.

To be fair Geno only won 4 B12 games that 2012 season. The defense was worse then Texas Tech had by a wide margin. Shit our first B12 game we topped Baylor 70-63. Kind of hard to win when you are forced to score 60 plus every game.
Haha, I remember watching that Baylor game with my dad out on his patio. During the first half I literally went inside to piss and grab another beer and 14 points were scored.

All of those are 100% true.

But, it isn't like that was a real great accomplishment. Just which Big 12 team(s) have been real good the past three years? I can't think of several that have been decent. None that have been great though.
