Uhhhh Northern Iowa is Division 1 basketball lol
Uhhhhh no shit sherlock. Ive been following WSU basketball for 25 years. The way Jacobsen runs his offense fits a guy like reaves. If he doesn’t have to run the offense and just lets the game come to him, ie Martyball, he will be able to fill it up. The marksmanship is there. He made 7 threes in a row in the first half against Tulsa last year. If he does that against a team like drake or Valpo, he could easily hit 70.

Holy shit are you dumb.

Lmfao.

You are saying a college basketball player could easily score 70.

Much less one that averaged 8 ppg as a sophomore in the fucking AAC

Good god.

12 overtimes?!?!

Wait someone is on here saying a dude who averaged 8 ppg could easily score 70 in a game?! Wtf. Lmao. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say UNI didn't even AVERAGE 70 ppg last year, let alone some random dude getting that many in a game. Lmao. Hope it's just some good fashion trolling.

Also Gophers picked up Pitt transfer Carr. Averaged 10 and 4 as a freshman. I think he'll average 30 ppg in 2 years...

Unfortunately with how in-depth he went regarding this kids game and talking about how he’s watched Wichita hoops for 25 years. I began to rule out troll.

At this point tho, he’s best off calling it a troll.

As for Carr. Love the pick up.

What i said was, against a team like drake or valpo, he has a shot. If he shoots it like he did against Tulsa (7 threes in less than 10), they would feed him and play Martyball and he could do it easily. Drake and Valpo are terrible.

Also, Austin was being asked to play PG, which is why he only avg 8 ppg and why he is transferring. He wants the scoring to go through him

So you’re saying this kid who couldn’t average more then 8.1 PPG in the American Athletic Conference is going to break the NCAA record for points in a game agaisnt a D1 team??

Seek help.

Wow. You are serious. He has no chance to 70. He wouldn't even do that against a D3 team.

Yeah I really like it too. Gophers will have some nice experienced guard depth in 2019-2020 with IW, Carr, Gabe and Vandy transfer Payton Willis. Hopefully Coffey returns for his senior season, and along side Oturu, that's a pretty nice core.

I’m kinda thinking Willis is a bit of a hinderance now but not much you can do.

Carr should be really nice. I wanted Marquette to get him but he took a lot longer with his process and McEwen was ready to commit. I know Wojo really liked Carr

I'm hoping Gabe and/or Willis can step up and replace DuPree seamlessly that year. I also wouldn't mind starting Carr and IW together in the back court with Coffey, Curry and Oturu. That lineup has some potential.

Also, as an FYI, NO player in D1 history has ever scored 70 in a game. But some dude who averaged 8 ppg as a sophomore can easily do it. I mean for real. Lmao.

Carr and IW will definitely play together. Carr is a combo guard and supposed to be a good shooter so he can play alongside him.

Yeah Gabe and Willis coming off the bench will hopefully be a good role for them, and hopefully a spot they can contribute.

Supposed to be one of the top grad transfers per several sources. OK, if you guys say so.

If DiVincenzo comes back, he might have problems getting time. So, it's a risk on his part I think.

With Booth and Quinerly, he'd have to fight for time. It says to me Jay Wright thinks DiVincenzo is gone.

Otherwise, the kid could have gone somewhere else like Creighton where he's guaranteed to get time.
