Safety is way more important. I agree Hood will be gone. I can see us adding another fat boy

again how does scouting a d/lineman take away from scouting a safety ? i was looking at d/lineman because a couple of good ones were playing today

as for safety we have our 2 starters in DJ and montea . we could use 2 more for sure but this safety class might not be that good

IF we are looking at the defensive side of the ball Safety is #1 need. 2nd need would be ILB is Brown leaves. Assuming Murphy and JG leave #3 need would be OLB. Defensive line is #4 on the list for me.

And this is why we always suck in the end. Picking need over talent. We need all four positions, plus O-line, WR. BUt D-line is usually where you get your biggest bang for buck in the first round. And likely where the real talent will be in this draft... yet again.

Yes both are FAs that should be inexpensive and both have been productive, HERE.

but think about other things, id want a guy thats tearing up small school competition

You can teach or scheme for accuracy. You cant teach size or arm strength.

That being said, Allen is only an option if

1. We cant retain Cousins

2. You think we can plug in any one and they will do as well as Cousins or better.

Nope, doesn't work like that, If you want to say that there are claims that (Insert name) can do as well, it doesn't belittle the point as does any ole' joe does.

BTW: it hasn't ever been implied either, just bent that way to satisfy Kirk Love!!

It would have been one that allowed everyone to define "Franchise QB" but that was done in another thread. This one I believe....teams in the KC race this off season.
