Good game fellas. Not sure how to take it with so many of your best players out or at 50%.

We really haven't been in many close games and I'm sure the inexperience will catch up to us in the playoffs. Very young team these Rams

Now i did not get to see the game but i can tell it wasn't a "GOOD GAME" lmao. Had the Hawks played Seahawk football they would be in first.

Once Seahawks were out of it on home field advantage and after Chancellor, Sherman, Wagner and KJ Wright went down it would be a stretch for them to make the playoffs.

Even if they did, they would not get far into them.

I'm deeply disappointed in Jimmy Graham.

Thanks for the post SJ76. We are currently busy placing blame for the disaster that just happened( from our point of view). Good luck this season, going forward. Make the NFL West proud by winning it all.

I'd love to have the opportunity at drafting RB, Saquon Barkley...

Another RB to Keep a eye on (might sound a little ND homerish)

Josh Adams

Yes he enjoyed it. He’s under the delusion that he’s been right all along, rather then recognizing that it’s just the end of the cycle for the studs that won it for Seahawks in 2013.

ive been saying for YEARS that when this D goes, this team is DONE.

they succeeded with defense and wilson pulling rabbits out of hats. thats it. the offense is in actuality a disaster of epic proportions and pretty much always has been. they trade for play makers and do NOTHING with them. they draft OL after OL and cant find any that work out.

if this team refuses to ditch the offense and move on, the ENTIRE O coaching staff, we can skip right to the kind of seasons you imagine happening after carroll retires.

then, when we are old and frail we will look back and say "gee, such a shame they wasted russell wilson's career and only got one superbowl"

P.S. dont ever draft a RB in round one!!!!!!!!!

P.P.S we WILL trade down in round one, we have too many missing picks.

Do you suggest taking a RB in the first 2 days?

Talk about a game nobody expected, I thought we could win a narrow game. Seattle just hasn't built a good offense around Russell Wilson, Seattle has been living off a great defense and Wilson improvising. Hopefully you can make the playoffs, next week is another tough game for you. Best of luck! As for this Rams team, it is unique that they are great in all three phases of the game. Even better than the GSOT IMO, coaching helps give it the edge. Which is kind of unusual for a 30 year old rookie head coach, but he was smart enough to get some experienced coaching help. We have a legit shot to win it all, even with the lack of postseason experience.

Round 2 sure, round 1 rb is the most wasted pick next to kicker. You can find good rb's just about anywhere.

Frankly.

I'm beginning to believe that. If there is a once in a century back( AP or Fournete) than by all means take him.

Their have been very few Running backs that have been drafted in the 1st round in the last 17 years that have shown their talent level.

I wouldn't in round 2. I think davis and Mckissic can be solid for us going forward.

Positives:

Russell Wilson -
It's been well established that this offense is the Russell Wilson show. Though there has been some excitement recently about Mike Davis' performances, but I just feel that the team needs more than a couple 60 yard rushing performances at 4.0 ypc (how far we have fallen - Rawls had to get 200 yards before people would consider him a successor to Lynch). With the problems on defense, Russell will have to play lights out (a repeat of 2014's Rams game would be a start).

CenturyLink -
Though not the home field this year it has been, the Seahawks really need home cooking right now. The season is on the line with this game. A loss severely jeopardizes their chances at the playoffs.

Earl Thomas -
If Wagner can't go today, Earl will be the last of the defensive leaders left standing. He will have to play his mind out if the Hawks D is going to keep the #2 scoring offense from looking like a high flying offense (like they did earlier in LA).

Negatives:

Todd Gurley -
Gurley really has returned to his rookie season form after a down year last year. He has failed to reach 100 yards rushing in his last 6 games, and he'd love to break that streak this week after Seattle gave him his worst performance of the season in week 5.

Aaron Donald -
Donald is a disruptor, and with the Hawks interior OLine mediocre at best (ugh) he's going to be a challenge to keep out of the backfield all day. Seattle will have to find a way to keep him from being disruptive in both the pass a run.

Greg Zuerlein -
This dude is an amazing weapon for a team that looks to score every drive. He allows the offense to take chances while still being able to put points on the board. Leads the league in PATs and FGs, and is and amazing 18-19 from 40 yards or more.

Matchups:

Robert Woods/Cooper Kupp vs. Byron Maxwell/Shaq Griffin -
The Rams' top 2 receivers combine for 103 catches, 1486 yards and 8 TDs. They aren't the fastest receivers in the league, but they are very good at finding ways to get open and making the catch. Kupp would love to get redemption for the drop in the end zone week 5.

Robert Saffold/John Sullivan/Jamon Brown vs. Jarran Reed/Sheldon Richardson -
Goff has been lights out this season, but I'd still make him beat us over Gurley. When you take the run away, the Rams offense is a different beast. Easier said than done these days, and that was the goal against Jacksonville - and it failed - and that game started with a healthy Wright and Wagner.

Pharoh Cooper vs. Coverage -
A long return was one of the big plays that cost Seattle the game last week. It hurts all the more because Seattle is usually very good at coverage - less than 7 ypr on punts other than the 75 yarder. Cooper is having an amazing season as a kick returner, and the Seahawks have to stop him if they want to keep the Rams in long fields.

Overview:

This is it. The playoffs start right now. A loss this week and the Seahawks are looking up at a 2 game deficit in the division and if Atlanta wins, 2 games in the Wild Card as well. With 2 games to go, it'll be next to impossible to make that up. Add in Green Bay with Rodgers back having the tie breaker against us as well (an we only have a 1 game lead over them) and it shows that Seattle's playoff hopes could be severely dashed if they can't win today.

Reading this and comparing it to how the game turned out - and it was a complete and total meltdown. Gurley and Donald destroyed us. Cooper feasted on our special team coverage (with some help) and the Rams OLine completely annihilated our DLine. Complete fail.

That was us beating ourselves out there. Lack of trying, even more boneheaded mistakes than usual...

Carroll has every right to throw everyone under the bus after that one.

And I do mean...
