If the claims are false, Greg Schiano still isn't a very good football coach. .500 record. 20 games under .500 in the big east after all their good teams went to the ACC. Guy is a p5 coordinator at most and his resume shows that.

This is the problem. Tennessee was about to hire the best candidate they could get, but there fans were unhappy that the best they could get was Greg Schiano because he's not a big household name. Instead of being upset that they hired a bad coach, they decided to protest on the grounds that he enables pedophiles. Instead of protesting that Shiano is disliked by alums that played for him in the NFL they decide to turn the story to him being a terrible person. Despite not having any evidence that Schiano covered up or enabled r*pe they are not ashamed of using the little bit of heresay they have to turn his life upside down. It's absolutely ridiculous that the SJW are more concerned about their football team than this guys career. Just protest the hire, protesting on the grounds of him being a child r*pe enabler is just wrong, and classless.

Wrong and right and classless and classy are in the eye of the beholder. Either way, they got what they wanted. Good for them.

The court documents have a hearsay story (Bradley supposedly told MCQueary that Schiano saw Jerry and a kid in the shower). This is what Bradley's attorney said in response:

"At no time did Tom Bradley ever witness any inappropriate behavior," said Brett Senior, a representative for Bradley. "Nor did he have any knowledge of alleged incidents in the 80’s and 90’s. He has consistently testified as such. Any assertions to the contrary are false. When he became aware of the 2001 incident it had already been reported to the University administration years earlier.”

Part of me agrees because I do get a sick joy out of Tennessee being down, but at the same time I feel sorry for them.

The AD has to vet the situation better than he did. WHat happened was unforeseen and unprecedented, but he had to know Schiano wasn't gonna go over well.

He should be fired for both hiring Schiano in the first place, and then again for caving in to fan pressure.

Not privy to everything in this situation, but I kinda feel like Currie did his homework, found that there was nothing to substantiate any PSU allegations, and figured that that would be good enough for most everybody else. Clearly he couldn't have seen the twitter-lash coming, though. Social Media is wildly unpredictable

This will certainly chill some AD's who will be in search mode in the near future

If your fan bases had to endure Vince Dooley's retarded son and Butch Jones, yall might be a little more empathetic to the Tennessee fans doing whatever it took to not hire another Butch Jones.

I didn't include Lane Kiffin because he had them headed in the right direction before he bolted for USC, and if Tennessee could get him, I think they should give him a second chance.

High profile Tennessee alums, Tennessee state representatives, candidates for governor of Tennessee and even the press secretary of the White House all getting involved.

People can hate on CLay Travis all they want, but if he's responsible for this, it's hard to deny his influence, at least in his home state.
