We also seem to be running out of "Good" college coaches. There's over 120 teams in D-1A/FBS, and only about 10 that virtually any school would want to be theirs.

As a legit Gamecock fan, I'm happy with Muschamp as long as he's hitting 7 or 8 wins in most seasons. I don't have any illusions that we're ever supposed to threaten for a Natty in football. Be nice if he could also beat Clemson more than once every 5 years...and also win more bowl games than he loses. That's pretty much the ceiling for this program and about 80-90 others.

What's to understand? Tennessee was about to hire another Butch Jones, the fanbase saw an out the administration would have to listen to. They used it. It worked.

The AD should have known hiring Schiano wasn't gonna go over well.

This is the problem. Tennessee was about to hire the best candidate they could get, but there fans were unhappy that the best they could get was Greg Schiano because he's not a big household name. Instead of being upset that they hired a bad coach, they decided to protest on the grounds that he enables pedophiles. Instead of protesting that Shiano is disliked by alums that played for him in the NFL they decide to turn the story to him being a terrible person. Despite not having any evidence that Schiano covered up or enabled r*pe they are not ashamed of using the little bit of heresay they have to turn his life upside down. It's absolutely ridiculous that the SJW are more concerned about their football team than this guys career. Just protest the hire, protesting on the grounds of him being a child r*pe enabler is just wrong, and classless.
