Here's the thing.....he's a douche-bag so it isn't that much of a reach to believe he did in fact cover it up.

If he were a more likeable or a nice guy, he might get the benefit of the doubt.

Millions of people said the exact same words about Kobe when he was accused of rope. I know I did.

Remember that mediocre Michigan State coach that left in the middle of the night to go to LSU. I’m pretty sure his career went down the tubes after that. Sometimes a good coach can be at a bad program.

Like a Vols fan said.....the Vols aren't a team minus talent.....they get SEC talent.....they just need a little coaching. It's not a total rebuild.....kind of like Michigan wen Harbaugh came in.

What was Harbaugh's record his first season there?

Whoa, whoa, whoa there, DJ. You can't just go around questioning Jim Harbaugh's greatness like that. Aren't you aware that he is, without question, the greatest coach in the history of football who's won exactly fuckall and can't beat his rivals. After their illustrious performance in his third year at the helm, they're drafting a lifetime contract that will keep in AA for the rest of his coaching days -- and you know it's a brilliant idea because it's got the full support of @MAIZEandBLUE09.

Did you guys even have enough time to get attached to Nick Saban?

However, in his first season he took them to a 10-3 record after finishing 5-7 under Hoke.

As head coach he was only there five seasons.

Yeah, that's why I asked...I knew he wasn't there for long, but he did some good things.

It took a Gamecock to really put you guys on the national stage

He had one good season and outside of that was barely a .500 coach at an easier place to recruit than Rutgers. Sometimes you have to look deeper into a situation than just wins and losses.

What Dantonio has done there really is incredible when you look at the history of the entire program. One more season and he's going to be the all-time wins leader, and he has only posted one terrible season (last year) in eleven years.

And he was extremely mediocre at Cincinnati and I was less than thrilled when he signed. I was way the fuck wrong.

This is what a program like Tennessee has been trying to do, and it just hasn't worked out yet. You often have to take a flier on an "unproven" guy who turns out to be better than expected.

South Carolina really hit the jackpot when they convinced Spurrier to take the reins. He probably should have said "screw you, losers." But he took the challenge and really did a great job there.

And it will never happen again. Sighs.

Both pale in comparison to "said." As in, "in the court of public opinion, he has been convicted of said accusations." So transparent.

That's become every bit as annoying to me as "triggered," and "butthurt."

Yeah, triggered and butthurt got annoying in a hurry. Retards still wear them out.

I don't see a Nick Saban out there - ie., a coach who is at the top of his game with a recent NC win. They're not getting Saban, Dabo, Urban, or Jimbo. I honestly think the best possible scenario would be if they could somehow lure James Franklin from Penn State, but that seems unlikely. I could see Petrino wind up there, which would be a good start.

Well to be fair, Nick Saban wasn't known to be Nick Saban until Alabama. James Franklin definitely fits that bill but he grew up in Pennsylvania and will not leave PSU, IMO. I would be alright with Les Miles.

Saban had a NC at LSU and a stint as a HC in the NFL. He wasn't the GOAT yet, but he was definitely an elite coach.

Where do you get that he is a douche bag? Because some former players didn't like him? I'm sure you have to be a hard ass coach to try and succeed at Rutgers. His players at Ohio State love him. Do you not remember the story with LeGrand where Sciano was driving an hour one way to visit him every day after his injury? A complete asshole doesn't do something like that

Is Tennessee really about to hire a coach who's gone 33-30 at a P5 school? And hasn't won more than 8 games in a season? That's pretty awful, if so.
