Between the Cavs struggles without him and the Celtics success without Heyward, Irving is proving how valuable he is.

Cavs also missing lots of guys (IT and Love mainly) and so on. They are not a 33 win team (on pace for that now) but they might only win like 47.

Celtics are a true team, maximizing all of their pieces in a way typically reserved for the Warriors and Spurs.

Also, the Cavs issues run a lot deeper than just not having Kyrie. Jeff Green has been their second best player up to now for Christ sakes.

Their should be some measure of intent to be a flagrant foul. Melo tried to draw contact. It was unnecessary, but calling that a flagrant 2 is ridiculous. Offensive foul, sure.
